Guardian Angel

I'm sure there have been moments in your life where you have felt challenged beyond your control. Sometimes it may seem that your little body is not strong enough to handle the tough tasks it has been given. That's where this little gnomette comes in. This tiny little guardian has a very big job! And she loves every moment of it! She flutters around looking for just the right person to help, somegnome who needs a word or two of encouragement. The gnomette has now found a beautiful soul in need of her tiny positive thoughts and she doesn't hesitate to get to work quickly. She whispers so lightly in her new friend's ear that she is barely audible, but she knows that's all it takes for a reminder of the spark for life that still grows strong inside. With these tiny little whisperings of love and hope we are reminded that we are stronger than our bodies may seem. Life is good. Life is beautiful, and with this little lady by your side, that's an easy thing to remember.

In the Gnavy

Just look at the pride that this little Flip fella has! If you were to ask him, I think he would say that there are two things he knows for certain. 1. His many seasons in the Gnavy have given him a sense of pride that gnognome can ever take away. And 2. He loves his daisy-loving gnomette with all his heart. She knew he was her love from the moment her eyes connected with his, and her love has remained true ever since. Some seasons were more difficult than others, as he often went to help others across the big blue river, gnot to mention gneeding to move from garden to garden on many occasions. Through it all, they even managed to fill a gnest and raise two beautiful souls! Yet he has gnever doubted their love. They may be complete opposites, but the two love gnomes know that there is gno more fun way to grow old than with each other.

Colorful Clutz

Oh dear. Oh dear. Oh dear. Look at what has happened to the garden! It is this little gnome's job to touch up all the colors in the garden to ensure they are their brightest for the upcoming summer season. Most of the colors need very little touch-up, but she still needs to make sure that the grass is as green as green can be, the skies are the bluest you've ever seen, and the flowers are so red that they'd make anygnome proud. But look at what has happened! The clumsy little clutz has spilled all her paint! Now you can't tell one flower apart from the next... they all look like rainbows! What a mess! What a perfectly beautiful mess!

Gnature Cycles

It's gnot uncommon to find a gnome who loves to be outdoors surrounded by the magic of gnature, but this little lady takes it even one tiny step further. She feels like her tiny soul is intertwined with the forest around her. When gnew leaves sprout in the spring, she feels her own energy sprouting to life inside. When the leaves mature to a gnice dark green, she knows she is confident and secure. When the leaves start to change color and dance to the ground in a breeze, she can't help but rejoice with a little dance of her own. And when the trees are bare in the winter, she takes the opportunity to consider what she wants to do to improve her ways for the next season. It's a glorious cycle, one I think we should all consider.

Gniffer's Helper

Once upon a time there lived a humble girl who did not think she made much of a difference in the world around her. Oh, sure her friends and family loved her very much, but she wanted to be able to accomplish more. And so, with the support of her love, she went out to save the world one penny at a time. It made her happy to help those who gneeded it most, but she wanted more. Then one day she discovered a talent that brought smiles to many faces in her life. She quickly got to work, striving to maximize the smileage across the world that she could obtain. She was told that she was making a real difference, bringing sunshine to every corner of the garden, but she wanted more. There really is only so much one soul can do, and so she deserves a little helper - a gnome who can be supportive and help in anyway her tiny talents can. Meet Gniffer's helper.

Crab Apple

Oh wormy apples! This sour little fella seems to be as crabby as can be! Why, I am not sure. Perhaps he did not get enough snooze time? Maybe he just needs to fill his tummy with more berries? Or perhaps he's just tired of tripping over his feet! They are gnomatic, aren't they? Whatever the reason may be, this crab apple needs your help and quick! What can you do to cheer him up? Sing a happy song? Tell him a gnometastic joke? Give both him and his pet worm a tasty treat? Compliment him on his nose? Do something nice for him like help tie his shoes? Think fast! The quicker we can lift his spirits, the faster the garden will return to a sunny cheerful place!

PERSONAL GNOTE: Believe it or not I actually forgot to take a photo of this fella before sending him away to his gnew home, so I just reposted a photo of my original Crab Apple as he is very similar.

Dragon Whisperer

Chances are you do not believe in the magic of dragons, but everygnome in the community knows better. They know that just like other mystical creatures such as unicorns or fairies, dragons are as real as any gnome in the garden. And oh my gnomes, are they to be respected! No other creature embodies such a balance between destroyer and creator - so wise they must be to handle such responsibility! If you're like most adults, you have long ago lost hope to catch a glimpse of this powerful magic, but that is why this little fella is here to help. Meet the Dragon Whisperer. No soul has ever had such a sacred connection with the grand beasts and is he. I'm sure he will catch a dragon for you in no time, even if just for long enough to capture some of their wisdom and prosperity to pass on to you before releasing the beast once more.

Gnever Gnightmares

It's a well known fact that one of most popular Gnomish past times is to chase away bad dreams, but gnognome has ever loved the hobby as much as this little fella. He gets all decked out in scary attire so that he can blend in. He figures that the best way to catch those pesky gnaughty dreams is to work under disguise, and based on his reputation as a gnightmare super hero of sorts, I'd guess that his technqiue works. The Gnightmares gnever see him coming!

Jingle Bells

Gno-one celebrates the holiday season as well as those in the gnome community. Their celebrations may be itty bitty by most standards, but gnomes understand that it's not the size of the decorations that matters the most, it's the size of the cheer! They know that as long as they are warm and cozy (a good snuggle or hot thimble of cocoa often helps), then everything else falls into place! The mistletoe and holly decorate the garden, but it's being with loved ones that really fills each gnome with a warm and fuzzy feeling. And you know they LOVE warm and fuzzy! The moment that everygnome looks forward to with the most anticipation is midnight, when each and every gnome carries his bell to join in the annual performance of Jingle Bells! It's such a glorious sound (not to mention a wonderous sight), I can't imagine a better way to bring in the holiday cheer.

Homecoming

Oh my gnomes! This little fella is so excited, I think he's actually sparkling! Why is he filled with so much excitement? Is it because he has is in a garden far away, helping those in gneed? No, but that does fill him with pride. Is it because he knows his love back home is doing a fantastic job of tending to his little garden? No, but that does fill him with admiration. Is it because his two little gnomelings are growing each day into souls with beautiful personalities? No, but that does fill him with love. Though all those things bring a smile to his face, it's the fact that soon he will be able to return home and hug his love that has him all giddy with excitement. He might even be a little gnervous, but he has his red flowers ready to give to the most wonderful gnomette he has ever met. He hopes she knows just how much love his little soul has for her, as he knows that even from afar, he is the luckiest gnome in the entire garden.

Rainbow Love

I know it's hard for you to believe, but sometimes the colors in the garden can spark quite a debate amongst the gnome community. Some gnomes feel as though the red flowers should only be in the same flower bed as the blue ones, the pink with the purple and the yellow with the orange. Though there is gnothing wrong with those combinations, I love that this little lady has decided to gnot let that define her little corner of the garden. Sometimes she puts the reds with the pinks. Gasp! And sometimes she puts the blues with the purples. Shock! And when she's feeling especially feisty, she'll combine the oranges with the yellows AND pinks. OH MY! I must say, without her willingness to bring all the colors together, I think that the colorful garden wouldn't be nearly as easy to love. Wouldn't you agree?

Loud Mouth

It's not uncommon for most gnomes to assume that being a Loud Mouth is not a good trait. After all, when somegnome gets interrupted during a fun spirited chatty conversation, or woken from a late afternoon nap on a sunny rock, there is almost always a Loud Mouth to blame. And no gnome likes it when another speaks so loud they can not hear their own thoughts. However, this cutie is a well-known Loud Mouth, but for all the right reasons. She knows there are times when somegnome needs to speak-up, like when you know the right (or even wrong) answer to a question, or when you're encouraging another gnome to be as tall as he can be, or when you're singing a joyous song as you frolic through the woods. Before she speaks, she wonders if her thought is something that should stay inside her thinking bubble, and if not... then how loud (or quietly as the case may be) should she share it? Go ahead, be the best and loudest mouth you can be, but remember that your actions will ALWAYS be louder than your words.

Oh Sew Gentle

Take a look at this calm and gentle soul. She has quite a bit of talent packed into that tiny body of hers. She loves to sit on her deck, overlooking the lake, and make quilts that are more beautiful than you can imagine, jewelry that has more sparkles than morning dew and she even dabbles with knitting anything that is warm and snuggly. Spend a moment with her and you will instantly see that she is one of the most gentle giving gnomes in the community. Not only does she love to give handmade gifts to her loved ones, but she also spends her day with the gnomelings who are extra special and gneed that extra special attention. It just seems that she is always offering to help anygnome who gneeds it. And all the while, she has a smile on her face and if you ask me, that's as beautiful as the those cozy quilts she makes.

Gnomes and their Friends

Everygnome has a friend. Somegnomes have a bear friend. Some have a ladybug friend. Some have bird friends. Some have fish friends. And the rest have flower friends. Regardless of what type of friend anygnome might have, they all have one thing in common - they are all Preston's friends. Now this tiny fellow is hopping with excitement to meet little Preston himself. He has heard all the stories about how Preston is one of the sweetest, most loving boys in the entire garden! The little gnome and his froggie friend are both hoping that the little boy will love them always and let them catch a ride in the palm of his cupped little hand. Then the boy can take them on adventures with him, while he walks around showing everyone "Him New Friend" and asks for everyone to give his friend kisses. No wonder the wee gnome is hopping with excitement!

Different is Beautiful

Have you ever just stopped to gnotice the beauty of gnature that surrounds you every day? I'm always amazed at how there are so many unique wonders there are in every direction you look. Every gnow and then you might stumble across something or somegnome who does not quite blend in. Some gnomes are much more comfortable showing off the beauty in their own skins than conforming to what everygnome else may want. You wanna know a secret? It's these special souls who really bring out the true beauty of the garden. They remind us that we should all strive to be accepting of every form of expression. Adopt the motto "It's not right; it's not wrong; it's just different" and you're sure to amazed at the wonders that stand before you.

My Beautiful Friends

Sometimes even gnomes drift away from old friends. There always seems to be too much to do before the sun goes down - too many flowers to tend to or pebbles to pick up. And there is always the excuse of traffic - sometimes just the thought of crossing the garden, when what seems like millions of ants are crossing with you, well it's enough to make anygnome want to just stay home in her cozy nest. And so many suns rise and set, but even with all the hectic happenings, one thing remains constant. A friend is a friend is a friend and everygnome knows that when the decision is finally made to meet up again, these friends will pick up right where they left off. There is gnothing more comforting than knowing that your friends will always be there when you gneed them. It's good to see you again, my beautiful friends!

The Search for the Perfect Pair

For his entire life, this sweet little fella has grown up hearing the same stories as everygnome else in the community - stories about true love and the magic that it holds. So for as long as he can remember, he has been excited to see it with his own eyes and to feel it with his own tiny body. And so began his search for real love. Luckily for him, it's easy to find love in the garden. It's in the sparkle of the dew drops on the flowers and in the sound of the breeze on the leaves. But to spot the perfect pair of lovers, now that's a different story. His search continued until one day when he met a troll. She was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen and he was certain she was the one for him. He even had a sneaking suspicion that he has wanted to be near her since he was a wee gnomeling. He quickly decided that she was so wonderful that she deserved anything she wanted. Lo and behold, she wants him to love her all the seasons to come – the perfect pair!

Tiny Mommy Reminders

Every young gnome reaches a point in their lives when they leave their gnest in the clover patch and venture on their own into the big garden. It's an exciting time because this is the beginning of many adventures to come in the garden, or even beyond the garden wall if the case may be. This is the time where a young gnome starts soaking in more knowledge than most gnomes can imagine. Even with all the excitement, though, sometimes it's a little intimidating to finally be out on your own, and though it surprises you to hear yourself say this, you actually kind of miss hearing the motherly words of advice. Just looking at this motherly gnome, you can almost hear her say "Put your big girl panties on and deal with it!" You can't help but smile. Giving it one last thought, you straighten yourself out as tall as you can be, and announce "I accept that challenge!" For there is nothing that a young gnome can not accomplish when she knows that her family back home will always love her around the world and back again.

Easter Posse

Meet the Easter Posse. These brave little souls were chosen by the community to ensure no one is breaking the laws of Easter. They're tasked to go round up all the Easter misfits so that the holiday goes as smoothly as possible. But there's just one problem... even the bravest of gnomes knows very little about confrontation, so when they hear a twig snap in the woods they quickly put their plan into action before even confirming the source of the sound. The gnome disguised as a bunny does what bunnies do best - he hops away. The carrot fella does what carrots do best - he sticks his head in the sand so that all you can see are his feet and tail. And the egg boy? Well, what do eggs do best? Hatch? Now, wait just a minute... that was NOT in the job description!

A Family for Millie

Millie just adores her family. She knows that they are the perfect family for her. Her Mommy is special because she's a REAL doctor and knows just how to make things better. Millie is so proud of her mommy because she knows that Mommy helps sick gnomes feel better. She also gives the best hugs! Millie's daddy is great too. He is so silly and knows the secret to getting lots of giggles out of little ones. Daddy is so helpful and together they build lots of fun stuff. He likes to teach her how to do things, just like he teaches his students at the local garden school. Last but not least is Baby Joy. Joy is so lucky to have Millie as a big sister! Millie always knows the best ways to make Joy laugh and smile. She also is really good at giving Baby Joy hugs and kisses. Sometimes when Millie is mad at Mommy and Daddy, she can talk to Joy and tell her why she's sad. It helps Millie to stay peaceful. Together Millie and her family like to do things like watch the cardinals and other bright birds in the yard and make each other laugh. Millie just loves her family so much and can't imagine a better one in the entire garden! She knows her family is proud of her too. They miss each other when they're apart but they always keep kisses in their heart. Millie knows it can be hard when you're apart from your family. That's why she wants to share her family with you. Her mommy and daddy will watch over you and love you until your family is all together again. These special cardinal gnomes can even use their magical cardinals to send messages to your family far away. Whisper your message to them and they will fly to take them to your family. Then the magical cardinals will fly back to you with messages of hugs and kisses to let you know you will see them again soon. Millie is so happy to share her family and their magical cardinals with a special friend like you.

A Friend For Millie

Meet Millie the magical cardinal gnome. For a gnomeling as tiny as she is, she sure does live big! When she laughs big, the whole garden is a joyous place and the stars twinkle just a little brighter. Every gnome in the garden just loves to be around her and listen to her talk about her big adventures. She has a lot of those because she's very good at things like remembering everything she sees in the garden and swimming in the nearby water hole. This is why she has the very important job of taking care of the cardinals, she loves to watch them fly and she can train them to do all kinds of magical things. Perhaps one day she'll learn how to be a cardinal herself? Sometimes Millie can't help but feel mad or sad when she disagrees with somegnome, and even though she really tries to stay peaceful, she can feel so lonely at times. Do you want to know what she really needs? Millie needs a friend who will be with her always, who will take her on adventures during the daytime and snuggle with her at gnight. Could you be Millie's special gnomey friend? You can tell her whenever somegnome makes you mad or sad and she will always listen and understand you. You can squeeze her tight until you feel peaceful again (Don't worry she's a tough little gnomeling, it won't hurt). Then you and Millie and the cardinals can fly off for more fun adventures together. She would love a friend who she could keep safe day and gnight. At gnight, she loves to watch over her friends as they gnod away to dreamland, and if it looks as though a bad dream starts to threaten her friend's happy dreams then she's right there to help! The cardinals chase the bad dreams away from dreamland, then Millie whispers sweet gnothings into her friend's ear, oh so lightly, which makes a smile appear on her friend's face. All is bright and sunny and safe once more in Dream Land. Would you be Millie's special gnomey friend?

Bushels of Hope

Sometimes it's hard to understand why things are they way they are. Sometimes it seems to make no sense and there seem to be so many more questions than answers. In such confusing times sometimes all you need is a little more Hope. That's where this family of angels come in. Together these tiny beings have one of the biggest jobs in the garden. They flutter around looking for a perfect family to help, one who needs a word or two of encouragement. They have now found a beautiful family in need of their tiny positive thoughts and they quickly get to work. The daddy angel looks over one of the most wonderful daddies in the world, reminding him that he's not alone. The mommy angel stays by the beautiful mommy's side, reminding her that she has all the courage she needs inside. And the baby angel? Well she has the best job ever! She gets to play with the precious little girl! She knows how to be brave when the little girl is scared. She knows it’s ok to cry sometimes. She also knows it’s ok to laugh and play, even when a girl misses her daddy. Everyone is looking forward to throwing a big homecoming party when Daddy gets better. In the end it comes down to one thing: Hope. And this tiny family has bushels of that - plenty to go around!

Guardian of the Strawberry Patch

It's no secret that strawberries are delicious, but the ones that are grown by gnomes are particularly sweet and juicy. So it should come as no surprise that the town council voted unanimously the strawberry patch needs to be protected. Not just anygnome can qualify for such an important job. We need a master of the mind, a master of disguise, a master of all things green... who better to protect the patch than a master gardener?! Now that the strawberries are safe, the gnome colony has no worries about having enough berries for their upcoming strawberry festival. It's one of the best events of the year!

Little Big Sister

Don't let this little sweetheart fool you, she's a sly one I tell you. She has always been so daring and doesn't seem to be afraid of anything. If you're missing something then she probably has it and chances are she's not supposed to. For somegnome who is constantly doing what she shouldn't be, she sure does put a smile on your face and makes your heart sing! And if you thought she was hard to keep track of, just look at what is in store for you now! This sweet little thing is now a big sister! Oh how exciting! This little prankster of a gnomeling has a new partner in crime. Though she is always so helpful and knows just how to make her baby smile (a teddy bear is always a good start), you just know that she is already forming plans for sibling adventures in the future. She's sure to get both her and her baby sister into bushels of trouble! Oh let the fun begin!
