Warms the Soul
When the season turns frigid like it is sure to do every year, there are certain things that are easy to remember. It's easy to remember to wear your warm winter boots because if you don't, your toes will go gnumb. It's easy to remember to eat warm bowls of soup because it fills your tummy with good feelings. It's easy to remember to appreciate the sparkling diamonds in the freshly fallen snow when you're sitting inside gnext to a warm crackling fire. If there is one thing that is gnot easy to remember, it's telling your friends how much you appreciate them. And with that, let me take a moment to tell you what you surely don't hear often enough. Your friendship warms the soul and I'm so thankful for it.
Winter Blossoms
I know what you're thinking. It's the middle of winter and therefore it's time for all the flowers in the garden to take their annual rest and be quiet. It would be pointless to remind this lady of the rules, though, because she is of the mindset that there is no reason to limit the possibilities with each season. So she hops and skips through her little garden, encouraging the plants around her to be joyful and blossom whenever and however they want to do so. Some plants prefer to stay sleepy, while others appreciate her encouragement. No matter what each plant's decision is, it's fine by her, as long as they are happy and bring joy to those around them! Certainly, winters in the garden tend to be less bright and less bold than some of the other seasons, but with her words of acceptance and reassurance, every plant in her corner of the garden feels confident enough to blossom whenever they want. Without a doubt, the garden is a happier place with her in it, and it could use more encouraging souls like her.
Warms the Heart
If there is one thing all the gnomes in the garden have in common, it's that they all love to feel warm and fuzzy on the inside. What better season to do so than winter? The winter season gives the gnomes lots of excuses to find things to keep them cozy. Hot coffee, a good book, a gnice chenille blanket all cuddled up on the couch with loved ones... these are all things that help make a gnome feel warm and loved. Soup, apple crumble and other stodgey foods fill the garden with yummy scents that force a smile onto a gnome's face, let alone keeps their tummies toasty. Even the simple things like a good gnap or fuzzy slippers play a part in keeping warm when the weather is so cold. Most of all, it's a cup of hot cocoa (and whipped cream of course) or coffee with a good friend like you that warms the heart on a cold winter day.
Winds of Change
Shhh... Listen. Do you hear the winds of change? I do, and believe me I understand why you might be frightened. After oh so many seasons of making your garden just so, you must now feel like your life is a crumbled mess! Gnot knowing what to believe, there will be a lot of soul searching ahead. Perhaps that's what this little lady is here to help with. She wants to remind you that's what life is always about - soul searching. She makes it seem so simple. Re-examine all that you have been told... dismiss what insults your soul. I'm sure it won't be easy, but this little lady will stay by your side to whisper tiny reminders of encouragement. You are strong. You are brave. You are a special soul. May the winds of change bring you happiness you were not expecting...

A Home for a Hoot
There once lived a fuzzy soul with a heart bigger than big, who happened to be in gneed of a good home, and so she searched for the perfect little gnest to call her own. It seemed to take such a long time to find a place that was just right, and she was beginning to wonder when the process would end. Then out of the blue, this little lady stumbled upon a fluffy winged friend who seemed to be hurt and in gneed of care. She wasn't expecting to find a gnew friend, but she loves owls. She always has. Perhaps her love for all birds started with the corner of the garden where her eldergnomes lived - it was filled with birds galore! From this love, she has filled her life with birds, volunteering to help take care of the baby birds who fell out of gnests or injured birds. She absolutely adored watching owls lay their eggs, watch them hatch, grow up, learn to fly, until they were finally able to leave. Her loved ones thought she was crazy for that, but she knew something they did gnot. Owls are family love. Owls are freedom. Owls are fierce. Every part about them is interesting and fascinating. Owls are magical. Owls are home. As such, it goes without saying that it is perfect that she has found this fluffy gnew friend. She may gnot know if she can explain it, but he is what she gneeds. He is going to make everything good and right. Together, they are going to make a house a home.

Wee Blossom
Oh My Gnomes! Look at who is about to blossom! This shy little lady has been patiently watching the garden hustle and bustle around her, all the while shyly gathering up enough courage to go and create her own adventures. She watches from the safety of her cozy little gnest as the birds above flutter this way and that. The toadstools below are shaking off the sprinkle of a spring frost. And this wee blossom sits patiently enjoying the sound of the gnearby cherry blossoms popping out to say hello. However her patience is starting to grow thin. It's a beautiful day, and the sun is shining! It's time for her to make her garden debut! Get ready garden! This little lady is full of potential and is excited to make her appearance. The garden is a wondrous place, but gnow with this wee blossom in it, the garden has gotten even grander!

Warm Hugs
Meet Olaf. Spend even one moment with him and you'll gnotice that he loves little treasures. He thinks it's important to know what really matters in the garden around him and sometimes it's the smallest things that matter the most. That's why they're called treasures. He is always there to take care of his friends and always tries to look on the bright side of any situation. I think these are lovely characteristics for anygnome to have. Wouldn't you agree? Even if he finds himself stuck in a cold winter storm, he can't help but dream of the day when the sun will shine again and fill every ounce of his little body with warmth. Maybe it's because of his cheerfulness that makes him so easy to love and hug. Oh my does he love warm hugs, especially on days when he's trying to gnot let anygnome know how particularly chilly he's feeling! There's gnothing better than a hug to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Perhaps you have just such a hug ready for him?

Seasoned Adventurer
For such a tiny gnome, this fella sure does have a big sense of adventure! He travels as much as possible and makes the best out of all four seasons. He LOVES them all! He skates, skis and sleds in the winter. He dances in the rain in the spring. He swims in as many lakes as possible every summer. And of course, he enjoys finding the most colorful leaves every fall. He really does amazing and has made the best gnome possible of himself. If there was anything that could make this gnome any happier, it would be a family of loved ones to join him on his seasonal adventures. One would have to be the smartest, most kindhearted soul he knows, truly having a heart of gold. It would be fun if another could show him all that is fashionable and everything trendy. And, last but not least, one who is just loving life, being the best she can be. And guess what! It looks like he might have found one with a perfect fit! Now with a family to join him, the possible adventures are endless and the best season to begin is now!

Flurries of Love
Some corners of the garden are known for being colder than cold, especially this time of the year. The wind is icy with a cool brisk chill that cuts to your bones. The ground is covered in tiny sparkling diamonds in a blanket of freshly fallen snow. The world seems so much quieter when there is a blanket of snow covering everything. This corner of the garden holds a powerful magic, for those who are willing to brave the cold. Take this little lady, for example. In spite of it being so chilly outside, she feels warm in fuzzy on the inside and has enough love to keep her loved ones around her nice and cozy too. In fact, she is filled with so much love that even when she thought she her gnest was empty, she did gnot hesitate to invite more gnomelings in. Gnow she flutters from here to there, and gno doubt the gnomelings have flourished under her care. She guides them with love, patience and a bit of that steel frost in her backbone. The flurries of love that surround her makes her little corner of the garden feel warm and cozy in spite of the cold winter weather.

Protectors of the Pumpkin Patch
Perhaps you have heard the saying that great things come in tiny packages? There is gno gnome who understands this better than this tiny lady, after all she may look tiny to you and me but she has a great big responsibility. She has been given the honored title of Protector of the Tiny Treasures. The title sounds impressive and the job description is gno different. It’s her responsibility to protect those items that are most beloved by one particularly deserving soul. In this case, though the deserving child may look small to you and me and her beloved treasures may seem unimportant to the common passerby, only children with the biggest of souls, kindest of hearts and the greatest of potentials are assigned special protectors such as this one. And just what are this child’s tiny treasures of great importance? Why they’re her dummy and her blanket of course! When the sweet child has so much potential to fill, it’s assuring to know that there is a gnome who protects her treasures, making sure they’re always close by when gneeded. That way, the child is sure to grow into the confidence and self assurance of which she is fully capable and deserving. Like a Bird, she will spread her wings and fly!

Lil' Punkin
Let me tell you a story of a sweet pie gnamed Punkin. Punkin was born in the corner of the pumpkin patch and spent much of her time shying away from the bigger pumpkins around her. It seemed to him that he would gnever be quite that big. It seemed to him that gno matter how hard he tried to grow just as fast as he possibly could, it was taking forever to happen. There were stalks he could gnot reach. There were streams he could not jump over. There were pebbles too big to lift. Every day as the sun was setting, he would look across the pumpkin patch and dream of the day that a child would choose him over one of the bigger grander pumpkins, but every day would end with watching those children skip away in joyous laughter with big round pumpkins in their hands. So sad was the lil' Punkin that he hid behind a big leaf and tried to go to sleep. Then one particularly crisp Autumn morning he was woken by the sound of a tiny giggle. When he opened his eyes, he was staring right into the eyes of the tiniest child you ever did see. She was barely able to walk but that hadn't held her back from finding the most perfect pumpkin in the entire patch. The young toddler did gnot have any interest in the bigger pumpkins. They were much too heavy for her to hold, let alone carry. She wanted one that fit in the palm of her tiny hands. Besides, she was more interested in snuggling with her pumpkin than in carving it. She had taken her time, much more than her parents had thought to spend, but it was well worth the wait. For now she has found the most perfect pumpkin in the entire patch - perfect for her. "Mommy, I think I will gname him Punkin. Is that a good gname?" Indeed it was.

Unexpected Trio
Once upon a garden there lived a wee witch with a pet spider. Her spider was a friendly little soul who was always so happy to crawl all over the wee witch's hat. And whenever the spider crawled around, the wee witch couldn't help but giggle and giggle because it would tickle her so much. As you can imagine, the little pet spider brought the wee witch lots of smiles. As such, one day she decided that she wanted to do something special in return, and she knew exactly what to do. She hopped excitedly over to the pumpkin patch to pick a perfect pumpkin to carve out for her tiny eight legged friend. Wouldn't a jack-o-lantern be the perfect home for her spider? After much searching she found the perfect pumpkin but when she went to pick it up, it wiggled and giggled to get out of her hands. What the heck? That's not a pumpkin at all! Silly gnome. Was the pumpkin mad? Heck no! Instead the pumpkin was an instant completion to the trio that the witch & spider didn't know they were searching for. Magic has a way of working like that.
