A Home for a Gnome

Many gnomes find a home under a gnice leaf, or perhaps inside a small tree stump. Sometimes they're luck enough to find a large toadstool that they can add a special gnomish touch to in order to make it feel more homey. Gnever has a gnome ever found a home quite like this one! To some it may seem cold and grey, certainly gnot very squishy and comfy. However, this little gnomette sees the potential in such a wonderous place. Add a little gnesting material and paint pretty bitty flowers on the walls and voila! There is something to be said for the pride you get when fixing up your own home. She feels all fuzzy inside. It may not be perfect for everygnome, but it's perfect for her.

Crab Apple

Oh wormy apples! This sour little fella seems to be as crabby as can be! Why, I am not sure. Perhaps he did not get enough snooze time? Maybe he just needs to fill his tummy with more berries? Or perhaps he's just tired of tripping over his feet! They are gnomatic, aren't they? Whatever the reason may be, this crab apple needs your help and quick! What can you do to cheer him up? Sing a happy song? Tell him a gnometastic joke? Give both him and his pet worm a tasty treat? Compliment him on his nose? Do something nice for him like help tie his shoes? Think fast! The quicker we can lift his spirits, the faster the garden will return to a sunny cheerful place!

Loud Mouth

It's not uncommon for most gnomes to assume that being a Loud Mouth is not a good trait. After all, when somegnome gets interrupted during a fun spirited chatty conversation, or woken from a late afternoon nap on a sunny rock, there is almost always a Loud Mouth to blame. And no gnome likes it when another speaks so loud they can not hear their own thoughts. However, this cutie is a well-known Loud Mouth, but for all the right reasons. She knows there are times when somegnome needs to speak-up, like when you know the right (or even wrong) answer to a question, or when you're encouraging another gnome to be as tall as he can be, or when you're singing a joyous song as you frolic through the woods. Before she speaks, she wonders if her thought is something that should stay inside her thinking bubble, and if not... then how loud (or quietly as the case may be) should she share it? Go ahead, be the best and loudest mouth you can be, but remember that your actions will ALWAYS be louder than your words.

In Dream Land

It's a good thing that this tiny guardian is so bright and cheerful because that comes in handy when her talents are gneeded the most. Sometimes the gnight can get a little scary. Sometimes the darkness turns your thoughts into bad dreams but gnot when this little angel is close by! She loves to watch over her friends as they gnod away to dreamland, and if it looks as though the darkness starts to threaten her friend's happy dreams then she's right there to help! She puffs up her bright body as much as she possibly can, shining just enough light to scare off the darkness. Then she whispers sweet gnothings into her friend's ears, oh so lightly, which makes a smile appear on her friend's face. All is bright and sunny once more in Dream Land.

Jingle Bells

Gno-one celebrates the holiday season as well as those in the gnome community. Their celebrations may be itty bitty by most standards, but gnomes understand that it's not the size of the decorations that matters the most, it's the size of the cheer! They know that as long as they are warm and cozy (a good snuggle or hot thimble of cocoa often helps), then everything else falls into place! The mistletoe and holly decorate the garden, but it's being with loved ones that really fills each gnome with a warm and fuzzy feeling. And you know they LOVE warm and fuzzy! The moment that everygnome looks forward to with the most anticipation is midnight, when each and every gnome carries his bell to join in the annual performance of Jingle Bells! It's such a glorious sound (not to mention a wonderous sight), I can't imagine a better way to bring in the holiday cheer.

Four Tiny Buttons

Life just can't get any better for this tiny youthful and fiesty little soul! Just look at her, isn't she the image of happiness? She spends her time with her trusty snail friend always close behind, collecting memories along their way. A snail friend? Of course! She has always been openminded and has gnever passed up an opportunity for a wonderful friendship. Everygnome knows that memories are all the more sweeter when shared with a good friend. Oh my gnomes! Look what she has found now! Four little buttons! Aww, aren't they adorable? They remind her of four other little buttons in her life - her tiny grand-gnomelings. She knows right away that these are keepers, so she piles her heavy treasures on top of her trusty snail's back. As she quickly scampers home to show her two beautiful daughters her new treasures, she can't help but giggle at herself for feeling so giddy and happy.

Guardian Angel

I'm sure there have been moments in your life where you have felt challenged beyond your control. Sometimes it may seem that your little body is not strong enough to handle the tough tasks it has been given. That's where this little gnomette comes in. This tiny little guardian has a very big job! And she loves every moment of it! She flutters around looking for just the right person to help, somegnome who needs a word or two of encouragement. The gnomette has now found a beautiful soul in need of her tiny positive thoughts and she doesn't hesitate to get to work quickly. She whispers so lightly in her new friend's ear that she is barely audible, but she knows that's all it takes for a reminder of the spark for life that still grows strong inside. With these tiny little whisperings of love and hope we are reminded that we are stronger than our bodies may seem. Life is good. Life is beautiful, and with this little lady by your side, that's an easy thing to remember.

Worm Wrangler

You wouldn't know it by looking at him now, but this brave soul was once afraid of worms! You heard me. Worms. He wasn't just afraid of the slimy sly creatures, they terrified the wiggles right out of him. For a while it seemed as though all hope was lost. After all, how would a gnome get anything at all done in the garden if he was afraid of worms? Worms, of all things?! There is not a garden out there without worms! I'm not sure what happened, perhaps he would be willing to tell you the story, but one day he decided that he was not going to let his fear run his life. He puffed up his tiny body with as much courage as he could muster and went out to face his worm. Much to his surprise, it turned out that he had a wonderful talent for capturing and taming the beasts. Who would have thought that the very thing that scared him as a gnomeling would end up being his life calling? Go figure. I can't help but tip my hat at that.

Adventures in the Kinder Garden

This wonderfully silly and very outgoing tiny gnomette is in for a big adventure! Oh for such a small gnomeling, she has had quite a few adventures already! She's very mature for her age and knows how to be gentle with even the tiniest of gnomelings. So sensitive at times she can be! I don't think there is a creature in the garden that hasn't felt her loving touch. She loves them all, whether they are big or small, fuzzy for scaley or even a little slimy. I'm telling you, this brilliant little gal has had some gnomazing times, but just wait until you hear about her next adventure! She's going to Kinder Garden! Oh my Gnomes! I don't think I can even imagine the things she's sure to learn there. I'm sure she'll have no problem learning how to be big in a garden that expects her to be so small!

Sing-song Fairytales

I'm sure you've seen the fairytale movies where a princess frolics through the woods, singing to her heart's content. Without fail, the woodland creatures bounce and leap to join her in the melodious fun. It seems that every princess has a magic touch with furry friends. It's a little known fact, that this picture-perfect story line is based on this joyful gnomette. Yes, it's true. Hear me out on this one. She absolutely adores singing and can't seem to stop. No matter where she goes, she is always surrounded by garden creatures wanting to be as close to her as possible. They know it's fun to frolic and you can't frolic properly without a sing-songy melody! You might now be wondering why the popular fairytales have replaced this beautiful gnomette with a princess? My theory is that she's quite camera shy.

Gnature Lover

Gnomes are gnotorious for being gnature lovers, but gnone of them can top this little lady! To say that she loves the teal oceans, blue skies, green grass, magenta flowers and purple sunsets is a bit of an understatement. As with many gnomes, she is very spiritual and finds solitude in the quietness that the outdoors offer her. Too much gnoise ruins the magic. It's hard to say where her favorite place is... the forest or the beach, but one thing is for sure... she could sit and stare into a fire for many many seasons. She's always on the lookout for more things to learn about, as she knows there is always so much more out there. Another thing she's always on the lookout for? Nature treasures! She'll collect them as she goes and then bring them back home to give to the rest of the gnomes in her community. She can always spot the best treasures and is excited to share them with the rest of the garden!

Pink Shoes for Gnellie

Once upon a time there lived a little girl who sat patiently as she watched her Mommy make shoes for the tiny gnomes in the garden. Some shoes were red and some were blue but it wasn't until the girl saw a beautiful pair of pink shoes that she spoke up with a request of her very own. "Mommy? Can you make me a pink shoe?" Just one pink shoe? "No, actually, I want two. Can you make me two pink shoes please?" But they won't fit you. They're only for tiny gnomes. "Dat's ok Mommy, but can you make me two pink shoes so that I can hold dem in my hand?" You just want two shoes? That's it? "Yes please." And so her mommy quickly made her a pair of pink gnome shoes even though she wasn't sure what her daughter would do with them. After holding her precious shoes in her hands for a couple days, the little girl returned to her mommy and asked "Mommy, do you stink you could make me a gnome of my very own to wear my pink shoes?" Ah... And so we get to the real request! Sneaky. Now that the littel girl knew she had her Mommy's attention, she continued with her demands: "But Mommy? I want a gween gnome because gween is my favorite color. Wif a pink flower. No, wait, blue flower because blue is my favorite color. Oh and a white flower! Oh and don't forget what I told you yesterday - what's my favorite color? It starts with Oh oh oh. Orange. Orange is my favorite color. But make sure she has pink shoes, ok Mommy?" Sheesh. Some customers can be so demanding.

Laughter Heals the Soul

Hehehe... Have you ever thought something was so funny that you just could gnot stop laughing? And the more you thought about it the more you had to laugh? And then eventually you forget what you were laughing about in the first place? And then that makes you laugh even more? No? Oh. Well then gnever mind. Where was I? Oh right! Laughter. Whenever the gnomes in the community gneed a good laugh, they're sure to go to this fella for some help. It seems that he always has a good joke on hand and his eyes just light up at the opportunity to make somegnome giggle. Everygnome loves having him around, for what would the garden be like if it weren't for laughter? It would be far less colorful, that's for sure!

Magic Touch

One might think that relaxation comes naturally to those in the gnome community, but sometimes that's not the case. They just make it look easy. And there is a reason for that - gnomes like this lady know the secrets to staying calm during the most choatic of life's adventures. I'm not sure how she does it, but somehow she is able to teach that even the most challenging moments do not need to be painful. There is beauty in letting your tiny body do as it was made to do. She reminds us how to use the power of dreaming, imagining, and most importantly breathing to stay relaxed and calm. The process is quite magical, as are the rewards. Thank you, little lady, for sharing your magic touch.

Bitty Tough Love

What do you suppose is the most magical moment in a garden? There are so many, I know it's hard to choose, but if you asked me I wouldn't hesititate to say that it's the birth of a gnew gnomeling. Oh sure, it's easy to agree with me, but in the moments leading up to that birth, I know it's gnot such an easy thing to remember. Sometimes a mummy-to-be gneeds words of encouragement, that indeed she can do this on her own. She is strong enough and her bitty body is able to do this. This little lady recognizes this hidden strength and knows the secrets to convincing the Mummy-to-be that the strength is all hers. Yes, in the moment it might seem as though it's a bitty tough love, but everygnome knows that when the tiny soul makes his first appearance, begging to be loved, well... there is no question about it - he is well worth it.

Life is Beautiful

Gnomeone understands happiness quite like this wee soul. She is one busy busy lady! She works in a tiny garden, where there is still so much to get done. It seems like she's always doing something different, wearing so many different hats, but she loves it! Then after making all the garden arrangements, she heads back to her gnest where her little gnomeling sits, waiting as patiently as his crazy little body can for her to play with him. As if that's gnot enough, she spends her free time crafting gifts, such as leaf blankets, bitty bouquets and pretty hair flowers, for loved ones. Life just can't get any better, can it? A job to enjoy, a gnomeling to cherish and a crafting hobby to love. Life is beautiful.

A Helper for Mummy

Everygnome knows that a mummy of a gnew gnomeling gneeds rest. However it's not uncommon for her to forget to do just that, and that's where this lady steps in. She understands that a gnew mummy gneeds words of encouragement when things aren't going quite as well as she would have liked. She has a wealth of knowledge and suggestions for how to feed a beautiful gnew gnomeling. Quite honestly you gnever know what techniques might work, so it is fabulous that this lady knows them all! But most importantly, she reminds everygnome that Mummy gneeds her rest. It's ok for a Mummy to snooze, even for an entire day! This lady has everything under control!

Bubbly Delightful

This bubbly character is a delight for all those who know her. Anygnome who has the pleasure of meeting her knows she leaves a gnometastic impression, sure to last many seasons. Few gnomes, however, get the opportunity to see her shine where she shines the best and that's because only a few are lucky enough to use her mid-gnomery expertise. Ah yes, she has a talent for knowing how to check and measure a gnomgeling-to-be's progress to ensure that he is growing big (that's a particularly relative term) and strong inside. And when the time approaches for the gnomeling to make his appearance, she has a knack for reminding the mummy-to-be to remember the importance of the simple things in life. Like breathing.

Little Pocket

Gnever have you known a gnome who has a better sense of humor than this little pocket gnome. She loves to giggle and always knows how to laugh at herself - a rare ability indeed. The silliest thing? This girl just can't stop putting things in her pockets! It would be silly of you to even try to stop her. And look what she has there now? Why it's Fat Boy! How such a fat cat can fit in such a tiny pocket, we may never know but there is no doubt that the two make a gnometastic pair! He's quite the lucky cat and so is she for everygnome from the youngest most playful gnomeling all the way up to the eldest and wisest gnome, they all know and love her. It's obvious that she believes the right beliefs because I can't imagine a better role model, can you?

Relax and Float Away

When a gnome is expecting the addition of a tiny gnomeling, there is no more important time to remember to slow down and relax. This is easier said than done because, as you know, life can get hectic sometimes. Life in the garden is not much different. The good gnews is that gnomes like this little lady are here to help! She has discovered the secret to relaxation and she loves to share it with others. To say she and her techniques are gnomazing just doesn't do any justice to the magic she is able to teach. Being able to shut out any hectics from life in the garden, and to float away to one's own little world thinking about the gnew gnomeling to come... well there isn't anything more tranquil. And there isn't really a way to express a proper thank you.

Wee Twisted

If I were to say you're a little twisted, you may take offense to that statement and be left wondering what I meant by it. But that's not the case for gnomes - they'd know exactly what I meant and they would be flattered. It might even be the best compliment one can give to a young gnome who is nearing the point in her life where she will be leaving the clover patch and venturing on her own into the big garden. When a young gnome is told she is a wee twisted, she knows that means she has a lot of potential - all wounded up in that twist, ready to burst into the world! She'll be able to accomplish so much in the garden, or even beyond the garden wall, if that's where her twist leads her. She knows that if she puts her mind to it, there is nothing she can't accomplish. "Go out and change the world?" she asks. "I accept that challenge!"
