Piggies & Cupcakes

You might be asking yourself what do piggies have in common with cupcakes. Then again, perhaps you weren’t, but I bet you’re wondering now! I won’t keep you wondering for any longer. Piggies and cupcakes have one thing in common – this wee lady. Isn’t she a cutie? She is quite easily please with any magic that is created in the garden, but it is these two things that seem to put the biggest smiles on her wee face. She has always had a soft fuzzy spot for pigs, especially since they are pink and oh so cute! If she had the space, she’d have a micro pig (and perhaps some ducks) in her little corner of the garden! As for cupcakes? Well that goes without saying. Cupcakes are scrummy! She’s even beginning to decorate them to share with all her friends and loved ones. I’d advice learning from her wisdom. Let in the joy, whether it be happy dogs, tiny gestures from gnomelings hard at work with a special drawing, or even picking half dead flowers,. but most of all, let in the pink! Yummy!

Tiny Dancer

For as long as she can remember, this little gnomeling has been dancing. The way she has improved over the seasons is breathtaking, to say the least. Even since last season she has has evolved into such a flawless dancer that you can’t help but feel like your soul soars with her when you watch her move. She is committed and works very hard. Trust me on this one. By “hard” I mean she dances every style possible. It seems that she’s always dancing from here to there or twirling across the garden. All her loved ones know her has sweet, witty, funny and creative. They’re so lucky to have her in their lives! If a gnome is in gneed of inspiration, whether it be in dance or simply how to aspire to all the qualities a gnome should have, just one look in her direction andthey will find all the inspiration they gneed.

Bitsy Ross

This bitsy soul has so much potential, it’s gno wonder she was given such an important task. Create the first flag to represent the 13 original Gnomish colonies, united into one community? Oh my! Do you think she can handle such a big responsibility? Of course she can! Like many gnomes, she is so much bigger than first appearances may indicate. Quickly she gets straight to work – surely such a task will take lots of time! But to everygnome’s suprise, she is even quick to cut out a 5-pointed star with a single snip! 13 stripes to represent the colonies, each pure yet hardy in their own way, and blue to represent perseverance and justice… She’s gnearly finished. Add 13 stars and BAM! She gnow has a flag that is sure to inspire gnomes young and old to reach for the stars and achieve great things. After all, isn’t that what being a gnome is all about?

Wee Uncle

Such a wise old soul, this wee uncle has been tasked with perhaps one of the most important jobs in all Gnomish history. He is responsible for motivating the gnomes of the 13 Original Gnomish Colonies to reach for the stars and accomplish greatness. Such a challenge would require passion, perseverance and wit. Gno doubt this is the gnome for the job, if of course, he is ever actually gneeded. It should come as gno surprise that all gnomes, let alone those in the United Community, posess the desire to reach for the stars. Take one look at the beauty in the garden around you and you will see the greatness that the gnomes can achieve. Gnone-the-less, this wise old soul waits patiently for his talents to be gneeded, all the while cheering on his fellow gnomekind for their spirit and good will.

Who

First things first, but not gnecessarily in that order… Have you ever taken a moment to wonder what exists beyond the garden wall? All of time and space… everywhere and anywhere… every star that ever was. Where would you want to start? Perhaps when you give all the possibilities great consideration, you may find yourself feeling like gnobody important. Nobody important. Blimey, that’s amazing! Do you know, in gnine hundred seasons of time and space, this wee doctor has gnever met anygnome who wasn’t important before? Imagine the gardens these wee travelers have seen! Some gnomes live more in 20 seasons than others do in 80. It’s gnot the time that matters, it’s the gnome. So, are you ready for an adventure? Gnot quite sure what to do? Do what I do. Hold tight and pretend it’s a plan! Oh yeah, and RUN!!!!

PERSONAL GNOTE:

Quotes from Dr Who -

“First things first, but not necessarily in that order…”

“All of time and space; everywhere and anywhere; every star that ever was. Where do you want to start?”

“Nobody important? Blimey, that’s amazing. Do you know, in nine hundred years of time and space I’ve never met anyonewho wasn’t important before.”

“Some people live more in 20 years than others do in 80. It’s not the time that matters, it’s the person.”

“Do what I do. Hold tight and pretend it’s a plan!”

Guardian Angel

I’m sure there have been moments in your life where you have felt challenged beyond your control. Sometimes it may seem that your little body is not strong enough to handle the tough tasks it has been given. That’s where this little gnomette comes in. This tiny little guardian has a very big job! And she loves every moment of it! She flutters around looking for just the right person to help, somegnome who needs a word or two of encouragement. The gnomette has now found a beautiful soul in need of her tiny positive thoughts and she doesn’t hesitate to get to work quickly. She whispers so lightly in her new friend’s ear that she is barely audible, but she knows that’s all it takes for a reminder of the spark for life that still grows strong inside. With these tiny little whisperings of love and hope we are reminded that we are stronger than our bodies may seem. Life is good. Life is beautiful, and with this little lady by your side, that’s an easy thing to remember.

Bugzo

Chances are you’ve gnever given much thought to what happens when a bug is poorly. Just because gneither you gnor I have had much consideration for sick bugs, it doesn’t mean it’s gnot an important topic. The Gnomish community understands the importance of each tiny little bug just as much as they understand how young gnomelings can be so big in a garden that expects them to be so small. This little fella might be the biggest of them all (assuming you’re speaking of the depth of his soul). He loves to learn about everything, especially animals and birds. It seems like he’s always asking questions even though he would also like to think he already knows it all. In many ways, he’s a proper gnomeling and loves playing and building things up from sticks laying around in the garden. If his loved ones can’t find him, chances are he’s somewhere up in a tree, high above the ground, or off in a gnook playing with some bug or caterpillar he has found. That’s why his loved ones have gnicknamed him “Bugzo.” He collects the little insects and looks after them. He sprays “good bug spray” on the poorly ones to make them feel better. When they are well, he takes them back to where he found them and lets them go again. As you can imagine, this keeps Bugzo quite busy. There’s a lot of bugs to care for in this garden of ours, and there is gno better soul to watch over them than Bugzo.
