Worry Whisperer

There is a beautiful soul who is the bravest person I know. She is stronger than her little body may seem and faces everything with such enthusiasm and determination. What's her secret? How does she do it? With all of the challenges she has been given, how does she manage to make it all look so easy? Well that's where this little gnomette comes in. She has been given a very important job to do, but she is so excited! For you see, this gnomette has been assigned to the beautiful girl to rid her of her worries. All the girl has to do is whisper her worries to this tiny gnomette and she wisks them off to a different world, far from this garden. She knows that the girl does not want to burden anyone too much, but this gnomette does not see it as a burden at all. She loves to feel helpful and seeing a calm smile appear on the girl's face will be the best thing she can imagine. She's even looking forward to the opportunity to whisper a little secret or two in return, tiny reminders that life is good. Life is beautiful and so are you.

The Magic of Living

There are many things this little lady loves, like angels, animals, crochet, and yes… flowers. Spend even one moment with this dear soul and you’ll see that she loves more than just that. She lives life itself. You may have heard the Gnomish rules of how to live a good life. Live. Love. Laugh. It’s as simple as that. Those in the Gnomish community are so wise, aren’t they? This spirited soul, though, takes it even one tiny step further. Not only does she truly live, but she dances like gno gnome is watching. She sings like gno gnome is listening. She lives like there will be gno more sunrises. It goes withouts saying that rumors of her lifestyle have spread far and wide. Countless songs and poems have been written about her life philosophy, and it’s gno wonder why. When you live life to the fullest, that’s where the magic really happens. Life? It’s magic.

Sunshine

I was thinking about what is the most extraordinary thing about this little lady but it's gnot easy to talk about her without risking sounding like every other gnome in the garden. She is very very sensitive, watching the garden carefully, soaking in all of its sunny rays. She always thinks about others first and takes care of everygnome, sharing everything she can even though she doesn't even know the word "share." It just comes gnaturally. She loves to smell the flowers, watch the moon and stars and she loves to dance and sing because any kind of music moves her to do so. She's quick to run to give big hugs to fuzzy creatures no matter how many times the elder gnomes tell her it might be dangerous. I'm sure by gnow you might be thinking that she sounds very similar to all the gnomelings in the garden, but I haven't told you the best part yet. She plays peekaboo with all the small souls who are hiding in the garden, or angels who go un-gnoticed in a corner gnook!  Some might be surprised, but I surely see it as a gift to share with the garden around her. It's a gift, and one that brightens my heart. We call her Sunshine because surely the garden would be a much darker place without her in it.

Addie's Rainbow Unicorn (age 5)

Do you ever stop to ponder what your favorite color is, only to realize it's so hard to choose? Why not do what this little lady does? She has decided that sparkles is her favorite color, along with all the others, of course. It's a good thing, too, because she's responsible for creating all the colors in the first place. She has made a color for every occasion. If you ask her, she'd tell you all about how there happy colors (orange and yellow) and thoughtful colors (green & blue) and fun colors (pink & purple) and loveable colors (red). And what about the color of sparkles? Well, that's just used when life is good, so I say "Let it sparkle!"

Seasoned Adventurer

For such a tiny gnome, this fella sure does have a big sense of adventure! He travels as much as possible and makes the best out of all four seasons. He LOVES them all! He skates, skis and sleds in the winter. He dances in the rain in the spring. He swims in as many lakes as possible every summer. And of course, he enjoys finding the most colorful leaves every fall. He really does amazing and has made the best gnome possible of himself. If there was anything that could make this gnome any happier, it would be a family of loved ones to join him on his seasonal adventures. One would have to be the smartest, most kindhearted soul he knows, truly having a heart of gold. It would be fun if another could show him all that is fashionable and everything trendy. And, last but not least, one who is just loving life, being the best she can be. And guess what! It looks like he might have found one with a perfect fit! Now with a family to join him, the possible adventures are endless and the best season to begin is now!

Winds of Change

Shhh... Listen. Do you hear the winds of change? I do, and believe me I understand why you might be frightened. After oh so many seasons of making your garden just so, you must now feel like your life is a crumbled mess! Gnot knowing what to believe, there will be a lot of soul searching ahead. Perhaps that's what this little lady is here to help with. She wants to remind you that's what life is always about - soul searching. She makes it seem so simple. Re-examine all that you have been told... dismiss what insults your soul. I'm sure it won't be easy, but this little lady will stay by your side to whisper tiny reminders of encouragement. You are strong. You are brave. You are a special soul. May the winds of change bring you happiness you were not expecting...
