The Year of the Home

Spring has come and this tiny tweet can't help but love the sights around her. She has recently decided to move her gnest to a tiny garden surrounded by a deep forest. It seemed to take such a long time and the moving process was far from easy, but she is here gnow. Surrounded by gnature that the woods provide, she loves to watch the birds gather sticks and twigs and work so hard to make their own cozy little home for their family. Perhaps it's because she also holds friends and family closest to her heart, but she thinks it's such a brilliant idea that she has decided to do the same for her gnew little home. She starts to look items that remind her of the things she loves and make her happy and look what she has found! Buttons - one for each of her gnomelings (past, present AND future). A couple twigs, swirls and hearts for the finishing touches? Oh, why gnot? It all puts a smile on her face. Soon this tiny little gnest of her is going to be the perfect home! This year is the year of the home!

Lucky Day

Today is a lucky day! Look what this little lad has found! He was just walking through the clover patch on his way home and he stumbled to the ground, and landed on his gnose, but when he opened his eyes, right there in front of him was a four leaf clover! How lucky indeed! Gnot very many gnomes are lucky enough to find such a treasure. Just wait until his friends see this... Gnow he's sure to have good fortune for the rest of the year!

Looking Up

Who do you look up to? Some young gnomelings look up at to the moon. Even when the garden around them is the darkest, the moon seems to have a habit of shining a bright beam of guiding light down to the little souls below. That's how the younger of these two beautiful souls feels about her mother. What an inspirational gnomette she has always been! Such a big kind heart, of course she wanted to grow up to be just like her. I'm sure you've heard the saying, "Aim for the moon - if you miss, you'll surely land among the stars." It goes without saying, they're talking about these two. Try as she might to be just like her mother, the gnomeling grew up to be something even brighter. She is the sweetest kindest gnomette I know - shy to a fault, but so mindful of what others gneed. She has a special talent to know when somegnome gneeds that little bit of encouragement, kind word or funny story. And together? Oh my gnomes, these two are amazing! Their bond is so strong and continues to be stronger every season. If they do gnot keep in touch between every sun rise... well let's just say that there seems to be a hole in their hearts that can not be filled by any other. Forever. Unconditional love. The garden couldn't have better role models to look up to.

My Imaginary Best Friend

I'll tell you a little secret. Imaginary friends are quite real. No, really. Let me introduce you to my imaginary best friend. Like me, she is a pretty princess and loves to wear flowers and crowns but is brave and kind. And like me, she loves to go on adventures and I know just where our adventures can start. Maybe here, maybe there, but always together. I can always have my tiny friend with me. She is very imaginative and will help me keep my loads of imaginary friends safe and happy. She must have lots of energy to keep up with me too! I bet she even loves to read books, just like me! The best thing about my imaginary best friend is that she's all mine and is always happy to give me a tiny hug when I'm feeling blue. I can tell her secrets that I know she will keep and we will be together forever.

To Be an Engineer

Some gnomes are gnever satisfied with how much knowledge they hold. It seems that they always want to learn more about the secrets of the garden around them and how everything works. That's exactly what keeps this determined gnome excited, and believe me, that thirst for knowledge will take him anywhere he wants to go, even far beyond the garden's walls. Along with his ability to learn, he has a bit of a warped sense of humor, which other gnomes can't help but crack at least a small smile at. Perhaps it's because he's very laid back, or maybe it's because he always looks for ways to help the gnome community around him, but whatever the reason is, it's quite apparent that the garden is a better place because of him. I, for one, am glad that he tends to take everything in before he does anything, because then he does it right and he does it well. The garden could use more like this one.

Tender Loving Care

This bright soul is so easy to love. She brings so much color into the garden because she's so bright - because she's so smart, but also because she makes her loved ones smile and laugh every day. I for one, can't help but smile at how she's so adamant about being independent and strong, yet so full of love. She makes me so happy I could cry. She helps me see the sunny side. And with one little gesture she can patch up the whole of my world that had just fallen apart. My heart swells to bursting. She is my treasure, but I don't know how to show her. All I can do is start with being her treasure keeper. I love that her tiny treasures that she finds through out her magical day are entrusted to me. The pride I have when she hands me a tiny pebble, all the while knowing that it's worth more than it looks... well words just don't exist. Someday, though I'm gnot sure how, this bright little soul will grow to know how much her tender loving care means to me. She is the color to my garden.

Patches' #1 Fan

Some patches are worn because they're gneeded and others are worn as an act of support, but all patches are worn with pride. This tiniest of tiny souls wears her patch of pride for her big sister. If you asked her, I'm sure she would say that there is gnognome as special as her big sister and someday, when she's bigger, she is going to be just like her! She is so much fun! They are best friends and do everything together! You might even say that she is Patches' #1 fan! What she doesn't realize is that all the love she has for Patches is JUST the magic her sister gneeds. Sister love - there might gnot be anything more powerful. Together they can do anything!
