Bugzo

Chances are you’ve gnever given much thought to what happens when a bug is poorly. Just because gneither you gnor I have had much consideration for sick bugs, it doesn’t mean it’s gnot an important topic. The Gnomish community understands the importance of each tiny little bug just as much as they understand how young gnomelings can be so big in a garden that expects them to be so small. This little fella might be the biggest of them all (assuming you’re speaking of the depth of his soul). He loves to learn about everything, especially animals and birds. It seems like he’s always asking questions even though he would also like to think he already knows it all. In many ways, he’s a proper gnomeling and loves playing and building things up from sticks laying around in the garden. If his loved ones can’t find him, chances are he’s somewhere up in a tree, high above the ground, or off in a gnook playing with some bug or caterpillar he has found. That’s why his loved ones have gnicknamed him “Bugzo.” He collects the little insects and looks after them. He sprays “good bug spray” on the poorly ones to make them feel better. When they are well, he takes them back to where he found them and lets them go again. As you can imagine, this keeps Bugzo quite busy. There’s a lot of bugs to care for in this garden of ours, and there is gno better soul to watch over them than Bugzo.

Myoha

In a special part of the garden, there is a place where the gnomes don’t look quite… well… gnomish. They take on gnew looks and gnew jobs and become heroes of the land! As magical as the garden can be, sometimes it’s fun to escape and pretend and play with your family and friends, isn’t it? In this land you can find a special lady. Taking the many forms of a druid, this little lady may sometimes get lost in the bunch of other druids, but after you see her in action, you quickly realize that she is unique and one of the best! She started out as many other young taurens started – getting the lay of the land. While all creatures spoke the common tongue, I assure you there was nothing common about learning this gnew world, but she made it look so easy! While she, like many gnomes, may have wondered if she could do better, she astounded those around her with how fast she learned! Gnow she is teaching gnew players the ropes since she is an expert! She even plays with her Love who happens to be an orc! Together they down the evils of the word and clothe themselves in the highest honorable gear. This tauren has had quite the amazing journey and gnothing can stand in her way to accomplishment and victory!

Gneed for Speed II

It’s a well-known fact that most gnomes in the garden use snails for transportation, but usually they take it for granted that the slugs and snails just keep on moving from point A to point B. Gnot this fella! He doesn’t take the gneed for speed for granted. Oh gno, he loves learning what motivates his snail vehicles to move and how to make them happy and healthy so that they keep working for seasons to come! All the gnomes in the garden know when this little guy is working in his shop. You can hear the clinking of tools before hearing the familiar hum of his snail revving into working order. Is that his job or his hobby? Both! How fun! He is sure to make the best business and the best snail vehicles! Garden-wide the gnomes know that gnognome makes a better snail than from him! His snailish reputation is enough to make just about anygnome’s schedule full, but he’d be the first to reject that idea. He always makes sure to leave just enough time to enjoy his favorite activity – loading up his snowboard and hitting the slopes! Whether it is the crunch of snow under his board or the crunch of gravel under his snailmobile, in any season, there is gno doubt that this gnome has it made and lives life to the fullest!

Dashboard Hula Gnome

I don't care if it rains and storms
As long as I got my hula gnome
Sitting on the dashboard of my caaaaaaar.
She looks all pink and pleasent.
No glow in the dark or phosphorescent.
I'll take her with me when I go afaaaaaaar!

PERSONAL GNOTE:
Yes she really does bobble! How fun!
Adapted from "Plastic Jesus," an American folk song written by Ed Rush and George Cromarty in 1957

Flowzer

In the garden, the gnomes are surrounded by flowers constantly. Each enjoys the beauty they bring, but this little guy does gnothing else but watch the flowers. He is perfectly content to sit and watch them grow. He also has an important job. Sometimes the little bees in the garden have SO many flowers to attend to, that they miss pollinating some! Flowzer the Gnome makes sure it doesn't become a problem as he helps out the bees by tending to the flowers they have missed. What an important job! He also has a best friend. She helps in the garden too, but in a different way. She helps take care of her younger brothers and they love her for it. Even if there is chaos and noise of siblings buzzing around and she may get missed in all of it, she calmly tends to what gneeds to be done just like Flowzer. And also like Flowzer, she finds time to sit and admire all the beauty, color, and art in the garden. Gno doubt the garden is a better place with these two souls in it.

Free Spirited Pearl

This little Pearl of a gnomeling may only be 2 seasons old, but she is already one free spirit! She is hilarious to the other gnomes and talks gnon-stop to them! She seems to always be surrounded by friends but her best friends are her big brother and her big orange cat! Most gnomes show their colors and interests in the way they dress. Gnot this little Miss! She absolutely adores art, especially painting, and she also loves singing and dancing, all completely gnaked, funny enough! This spontaneous little gnomeling might decide that today is the perfect time to visit the beach in the middle of winter. Or maybe it is a good day to be a young, free spirit and just paint! What a vibrant delight!

Little Princess

Pink and purple and sparkles, oh my! This little girl knows where her interests are! She sees the beauty of the gnome garden in the sparkles of the dew and the glitter in the snow. She loves anything that shines and it is best if it is on something pink! She also loves dressing up her dolls so they look glamorous as well! How fun. Any gnome in the garden that sees her can’t help but smile at her when she dresses herself and her dolls in the most beautiful princess clothes. What a treasure she is!

Gnatural Reader

Most gnomes live in the garden, each in their tiny little cozy gnooks, be it in under a mushroom, or in a hollow log. Well that is where you can find this girl! She loves to be in gnature and be surrounded with the plants and trees and flowers and even all the bugs and wildlife! That’s gnot all, though. You can also catch her reading a book most days! She could even be called a bookworm! Her passion for gnature and books is so infectious that anygnome who sees her can’t help but fall in love with her and be excited for her. She is such a treasure in the garden!

What's in a Gnome?

There are some in the garden who might be wondering what’s so magical about Gnifferland… I’ll let you in on the secret. The gnomes are all about peace and love and gnice yummy thoughts. They are everything that my child gneeds to make themselves calm after a gnasty gnight terror. The gnomes are a personification of a parent’s, sibling’s, or friend's love, happy memories, positive thoughts, hugs, kisses and soft feathery pillows. They are the smell of a crisp spring morning, a silly little jig that puts a smile on your face and the warmth of hot chocolate by a roaring fire. They are little pieces of hope, faith, innocence and purity that children should gnever grow out of, even after they’ve grown old and grey. What’s in a gnome? One word: Whimsical Innocence. Ok, so that was two words, but gnow that’s the point, isn’t it?

Firegnome

What better calling for a gnome than to be a firegnome? In the hot summer, the garden gets dry and fires are such a risk to the entire gnome community! Luckily this little soul is there to save the day! He puts on his gnatural-wool fire retardant gear on and rushes toward the flames! Gnow his secret? He soaks up all the water in the garden hose and then rolls on the dry plants to get them wet. If there is a real fire, though, they have to call in the fire truck! It takes lots of courage to fight those flames! Covered tip to toe in soot, that is one thing this gnome has - courage. Courage to make sure others are safe without thinking about his own safety.

Growing Up

This lovely lady has a special gift. She can help things grow. This lady made it her life's ambition to teach her gnomelings how to be big in a garden that expects them to be so small. After all, she wanted to give them the best start they could possibly have. She has the best sense of humor and and taught her gnomelings how to laugh and keep smiling all through life. She also made sure her gnomelings ate the most healthy things so they could grow into strong gnomes in body as well as spirit. Her love and talent doesn't stop with her own family, though. No way! When she wasn't busy helping her her own family grow, she was involved in many events and groups from schools to gnursing to help other gnomes and their gnomelings grow strong in their own ways. Everygnome is blessed to have this lady in their lives as they bloom under her love and guidance!

Centaurgnome

Gnever before has the garden known a gnome who is quite as unique as this tiny fella. One look at him and it's apparent that he beats to his own drum. Spend even a few moments with him and you'll see that he embraces this with a smile. He is loved for so many reasons it's hard to find the time to write them all down. Being an inquisitive gnome, of course he believes in magic, but he also loves science. Are you surprised? You shouldn't be. That's the beauty of a true Gnomish soul. He understands that magic and science go hand in hand. If his funny gnature doesn't put a smile on your face, then surely his love for learning will. He loves math. He loves to read. He loves anything having to do with the magical garden around him, and he loves to share his opinions on all the knowledge that he has filled his tiny body with. Gno doubt that this garden is so blessed to have such a gneat gnomeling in it. He is so much a part of his family that it's hard to imagine how dull the garden would be without him.

Batter Up

The bases are loaded, the crowd is cheering. It's down to the last inning. The gnome glances up at the sun peaking through the garden flowers. Ah, today is a good day for baseball. Actually for this gnome, EVERYDAY is a good day for baseball. He chews his wad of bubblegum and holds the bat at a perfect angle. The pitcher stares him down and he stares right back. Today, he will hit that ball and bring his whole team home. Today they will score the winning point. With a gnod, the pitcher throws the ball. This gnome swings with all his might and there is a sharp crack as the bat meets the ball. The ball soars high over the garden fence. The crowd cheers! He did it!

Policegnome

What is a hero? Those in the gnome community know exactly what a hero is. A hero is the bravest of the brave. He’s a soul, big or small, who is there when you really gneed them. Despite all the odds, they always have a helping hand, kind word or even a good snuggle for you. Heroes can be anygnome who picks you up when you are down, somegnome who gives you strength and courage when you are weak or scared. They spread hope. A hero is gnot made with money, power, athletic ability or physical appearance. A hero is made just by being bigger than their little bodies may seem, somegnome who cares more about others than themselves. They strive to gnot only keep their loved ones safe, but keep strangers safe as well. Sometimes they risk their lives to save others, but sometimes they’re just a humble caring hand. A hero is sure to have one thing – a warm and loving heart. Their positivity, generosity and kindness is so inspirational. Heroes are unique souls indeed. This policegnome is no exception!

Gnome in the Yellow Hat

One day the Gnome in the Yellow Hat went on a long far-away trip through the garden. He ventured so far, not many gnomes went that far - indeed only the bravest even dreamed to venture that far. As he got farther from home, he gnoticed that the garden snails were different colors. How fascinating! He was interested in different garden snails. He saw pinks, blues, browns, yellows, oranges... so many new ones! Suddenly the bushes stirred up ahead. What color of snail would it be? He got his sketchbook out to start taking gnotes. Suddenly a little monkey popped out of the plants! What a surprise! The Gnome in the Yellow Hat had gnever seen this type of creature before, but he sure liked this little monkey! The little monkey was gnot shy at all! Instead the little monkey was so curious about this gnome he had gnever seen and his bright yellow hat! Before long, the Gnome in the Yellow Hat had gnamed the monkey George and they started an amazing friendship together. George went to live with the Yellow-hatted Gnome and they went on many adventures together, learning about the garden all the time! Their adventures together were so grand that gnomes would tell them to their gnomelings for many generations to come.

Gnomet

This wee artistic soul has always dreampt of going to a gnew garden, one that inspires him.  And he knows just the place!  It's just beyond the big blue stream - the Garden of Lights!  It's a wondrous place where the lightning bugs twinkle around the Tour d'Lis, a grand iris monument built back in the day for the Gnome's Fair.  When you see the twinkling lights, your eyes can't help but twinkle right along.  What more will Gnomet find there?  Perhaps a stroll through the gardens will give him inspiration?  Or maybe a hot cup of café will warm up his painting palette?  Maybe he'll even find a bit of l'amour?  If he paints what's in his heart, I'm sure his work will be remembered for seasons to come!

Proud Scotsgnome

McScotty is proud to be a member of his giggle, he is gnever without his tartan.
While many might poke fun at his "skirt", he knows wearing a kilt proves him brave and manly. Ever since he was a young gnomeling he wanted to learn to play the music of his heritage. After all, bag pipes are his favorite sound. As you know, only a proud Scotsgnome can say that. When McScotty wasn't busy sitting on the moors or tending to the sheep, one could find him playing his pipes in the early morning mist with the sound echoing off the hills. As is gnotes filled the air, he would dream of the day when he could pick up the pipes and play for a grand joyous occasion. After many seasons of practicing and waiting, such an opportunity presented itself and he couldn't pass it up. He was invited to play his pipes at the joyous reunion of two gnomes in love! Some might question why he was asked to do so, as the groom wasn't really big into the Scottish culture and it was rumored he might gnot even like the bagpipes! However, it was the bride who insisted. McScotty didn't care about the reasons. He was just excited to finally be able to play his pipes in celebration of love!

The One and ONLY Bob Ross

This little gnome found his true joy: painting. He didn't always paint, but when he decided to make it his life, he was a success! Everygnome in the garden knows him by his images. By recording how to paint, any gnome in the garden could watch while painting too. His gentle voice and encouragement inspired and calmed and really helped the creativity of many gnomes. This painter's calming voice, gnot only was memorable to his audience, but he would even soothe wild critters that he had on the show with him! He believed that everyday was a good day when you painted and that it brought a lot of good thoughts to your heart. He saw the garden as a happy wonderful place and would make sure all the happy little clouds and trees made it in his paintings. He also believed while painting, there were no mistakes, only happy accidents. What a wonderful soul he was as he touched so many in the garden!

PERSONAL GNOTE:
I know as a gnomeling, I would watch my dad paint while watching the program.

Steam Punk

The garden is full of magic isn't it? And yet, you can familiarize yourself with the certain types of magic you may see everyday in the garden. One gnome dreams of "what if's". What if he discovered a magical source of power? What if instead of flowers growing millimeters per day, he could use this power to grow them inches per day. What an energy source! Better yet, what if this power source was discovered over a hundred years ago. Instead of the gnomes using snails to traverse the garden, what if back then, you could harness this magical power and had steam powered snails that even flew! I bet with enough tubes, cogwheels, and inventing, he could have made it work. Putting his pocketwatch back into his vest pocket and adjusting his felt derby, he looks toward the sky. Yes, he could have invented that....
