Spider Gnome
There are all sorts of heroes in the garden, and some of them may gnot get the glamourous attention that they deserve. This brave soul definitely fits in that category. His loved ones call him the Spider Gnome. They call him that because he is always having to rescue the spiders from those around him. When others may try to just smash the poor creatures, he tries to save them. Unlike most, he knows that spiders are good. Spiders are our friends, even though it is often way too difficult to remember, especially if they sneak up on you from behind. Spiders should know better than to do such creepy things like that. With all the misunderstand that surrounds them, these spiders sure are thankful to have the Spider Gnome on their side. The creepy crawly critters can rest a wee more peacefully knowing that he is covering their backs.

Lil' Caver
Approach the opening of one of the largest caves in the world and you might find yourself a wee bit gnervous about going any further. Gnot this brave soul! He would reassure you that even though it is a bit scary at the beginning, he and his lovely team of cavers will take very good care of you! And oh the adventures in store! Deep in the cave, you might think that without any sun, there would be gnothing magical to see, but you'd be wrong. The cave is filled with more wonders than your eyes have ever seen. Crystals sparkle in the candle light as though they've gnever been touched by light before. There are even cave flowers, but they don't smell the same as the ones that grow in the garden. If you're lucky, the team will let you join them for Swiss cheese fondue by candle light. Wow! Can it get any more magical than this? I think gnot!
Guardian Angel
I’m sure there have been moments in your life where you have felt challenged beyond your control. Sometimes it may seem that your little body is not strong enough to handle the tough tasks it has been given. That’s where this little gnomette comes in. This tiny little guardian has a very big job! And she loves every moment of it! She flutters around looking for just the right person to help, somegnome who needs a word or two of encouragement. The gnomette has now found a beautiful soul in need of her tiny positive thoughts and she doesn’t hesitate to get to work quickly. She whispers so lightly in her new friend’s ear that she is barely audible, but she knows that’s all it takes for a reminder of the spark for life that still grows strong inside. With these tiny little whisperings of love and hope we are reminded that we are stronger than our bodies may seem. Life is good. Life is beautiful, and with this little lady by your side, that’s an easy thing to remember.
What a Hoot!
I bet that at this very moment you are asking yourself, "What is a gnome doing wearing roller skates?" I assure you that it's perfectly gnormal and gnothing to worry about. Would you believe that it was the gnomes who invented the roller skates in the first place? Of course they did! Skating around in circles and zipping past the slow moving Elders in the garden, well that's all good old fashioned fun, and the gnomes have always specialized in just that type of fun. Take a look at this little lady. It's her who loves roller skating gnow. When she was a young gnomeling she used to skate a lot, but she has recently taken it back up again. She had almost forgotten how much fun it was to race across the garden and was deep in thought when she was joined by another soul who decided to tag along for the fun. Whoo! Whoo! It didn't take long for the two to become special friends. There was something about the little owl that told her he was a message from a loved one from the past. Together they zip this way and that. Together they giggle. What a hoot!
Yin Yang
If there ever were two gnomes more different than each other, it would be these two. But does that mean this creates a problem? Oh goodness gno! In fact, just the opposite. Little Yin is a quiet soul who has a knack for understanding the garden around her. And Yang? Oh, this bold adventurer has gno problem making the most of each moment! And together? They are super compatible and can talk circles around each other in such a way that you can't help but giggle. They compliment each other like the sun and the moon. How do they get along so well, and make it look so easy to do so? If you asked them I'm sure they would say that the secret is in balance. It's a bit of "give" and a bit of "take." More specifically, it's about 99% give and 1% take, but these gnumbers don't matter when they know with every little fuzzy ounce of their body that they are in this together. Together they can take on anything the garden sends their way, whether it be a dark gnight or a sunny day, or a wet storm or a dry spell. Together they are balanced. Together they complete each other. Together for endless seasons to come.

Gnapsack Adventures
I'll admit, it has been soooo hard for this little lady to choose a theme for her gnext adventure because she loves all adventures. Every time she hears of a gnew one, she swears that it is the one for her. Here is what she finally decided... This little little one is headed for Kinder-garden just as soon as the seasons change. Just how will she get from her little gnest to the kinder-garden? It just so happens that she has found herself a ride in the most perfect gnapsack ever. It belongs to a little girl with a huge heart, what a perfect companion! Much to this little gnomeling's delight, the girl has agreed to be her adventure companion in exchange for the gnomeling being her guardian at school. There could gnot be a more perfect match! Imagine the adventures this one has in store for her! In a garden where books are endless and just as soon as you open the cover, the magic just flutters out of the pages like little butterflies, well let's just say that few souls are as lucky as this little lady. Gno doubt she will have so much fun guarding the little girl that she will forget she is working at all. It seems as though it was just last season that the garden welcomed this soul. Sob, whimper... She is growing up... gnot fair!
I Shall Wear Purple
With a red hat which doesn't go, and doesn't suit me.
And I shall spend my pension on brandy and summer gloves
And satin sandals, and say we've no money for butter.
I shall sit down on the pavement when I'm tired
And gobble up samples in shops and press alarm bells
And run my stick along the public railings
And make up for the sobriety of my youth.
I shall go out in my slippers in the rain
And pick flowers in other people's gardens
And learn to spit.
