Little Cheer

If you ever find yourself lucky enough to see this little lady perform, you would be surprised to know she is quite a shy little thing. She has always been shy around other gnomes, but when she's performing in front of the entire gnome community, is as though it doesn't even bother her. She absolutely loves to tumble and do summersaults and is particularly proud of the trophies she has received for her hard work. In fact, for an entire week after being presented with her beloved trophy, she carried the new treasure around with her and was even caught sleeping with her arms securely wrapped around it. This little bit of good cheer has so much personality, even when she's gnot performing, that it's easy to see why she is so loved. You can't help but smile at how often she wants to change her outfit. Gnever quite sure if she wants to be frilly or comfy, she seems to change her mind half a dozen times a day! And oh where she got her love for shoes is still a mystery to me. One thing for certain, though, is that the garden could use more cheer like hers!

My Family... My Life

Pssst... This may sound a little silly to you, but I know the secret to happiness. First, take two aspen leaves... each unique and beautiful on their own, with veins of truth and kindness flowing through them. Look closely and you can see that each leaf is incredible in its own right, but in a subtle humble way. It isn't until you put them together that their true magic can be seen as they're able to really dance in the breeze. Ahhh, the music they make! Gnext, take a very spirited ladybug who loves to be the leader and is sure to challenge any soul to be more creative. Add to the mix a quiet cuddle bug who seems content to go with the flow as long as she is able to offer up a snuggle or two of support. Together the leaves give the support to lift a soul up higher but it's the ladies who give the inspiration to fly! This is my family. My life. And together we are able to reach great heights.

Pastel Wishes

Some wishes are full of energy, almost as though the wish maker just KNOWS that they will come to be. These wishes bounce from hither to thither, so confident that eventually they will make their way to being true... someday. Other wishes are just as confident, but in a soft spoken sort of way. They fly as straight and quickly as they can to their destination because they KNOW they are just that important and certain to be kept. And finally there is my favorite kind of wishes... Pastel wishes. They are the ones that are made with so much hopefulness that you just KNOW if they make it, then they would bring so many more smiles to the garden. And the garden could always use more smiles. The trouble with these wishes, though, is that sometimes they lack confidence and energy to come true on their own. They're made by good souls who would be happy just the same, but that's where this little soul steps in. She has the very important job of delivering these precious wishes because she knows that good souls deserve to have their dreams come true, and it's always the hopeful wishes that have the best results!

Close to Me

A quick glance is all a gnome gneeds to see the potential that your tiny soul has in store. Oh my gnomes are you tiny, but already I can see you have a big soul. I am certain that you will be so big in a garden that expects you to be so small, and I am so blessed to be the one who gets to show you the wonders of the garden around you. Oh how I have so many things to show you like the dew drops on the spider webs and how they glisten like diamonds? Or the music that the leaves make as they jingle in the breeze? We're going to climb to the top of mountains so that you can see the entire garden stretch below us. There are a lot of adventures to be had! I want to show you our garden as I see it so that you may know in your heart the things that gneed to be done to make it even more magical than it already is. Where should we go today? What treasures will we find? Snuggle close to me, my love, and we're sure to find something grand!

A Marine's Mom

The bond between mother and daughter is always strong in the gnome community, but it's especially strong for these two souls. Though the younger of the two grew to be quite different than her mother, it's still apparent where she gets her love of life. Her generosity and kind heart are not things that one can teach a gnomeling through books and study. Gno, those things are taught by example alone and she had one of the best examples in the garden - her own mother. These two beaming souls may be different in ways that compliment each other, but they're similar in all the good ways as well. The pride is overwhelming, and the friendship is strong. Together I'm sure these two souls are able to do wonders in the garden around them.

The Pink Marine

When she was a tiny gnomeling, this beautiful soul loved to put on pretty bows and flowers to pretend she was a real princess but that doesn't mean she let it stop her from having the REAL fun. If there were frogs to be caught, she was the first to stomp her pretty shoes into the mud without a second thought. She could chase after dragonflies faster than most of the other gnomelings in the garden. She may have dressed up in foofs and frills, but she could keep up with any of the rough housing that the other young gnomes would do. She has always been such an energetic little sprite and if anygnome doubted her ability to do something, she would take it as a challenge and prove, not to them, but to herself that she could do the same thing better and faster. That's gnot to say she isn't a princess. Oh My Gnomes! She is princess to her tiny core. After all, a TRUE princess can protect those in the garden around her and be a real hero... she just knows how to do so in style.

My Brother Is...

Let me tell you a little about my brother. He is Respectful, Responsible, Honest, Caring, Courteous and above all else, Courageous. I am proud to say that I was the one who taught him to walk, talk, tie his shoes and I knew all his tickle spots before anyone else did. I can honestly say he is one of the most amazing gnomes I have had the honor of knowing in this life. To say we have a very special bond just doesn't give him enough credit. He is my world and I value him beyond anything or anygnome else in this garden because he values all the right things in life. He is my role model and though he likes the simple things, he believes family is EVERYTHING and pushes me to be better everyday. There are so many things this gnome enjoys doing, and always seems to make them look so easy, but above all else, he is a gentle giant with a heart bigger than this world. If there was a single muffin left he would split it among however many gnomes where there and not think to give himself a bigger piece. Gnow THAT'S true soul. The garden gneeds more souls like his.

Our Little Monkey

Oh my gnomes! This little soul has one heck of a sense of humor! And for one who everygnome expects to be so small, her sense of self is so big! She loves to do the opposite of what she is told, always with a huge confident grin on her face (which always makes my heart sing to see). Even at such a young age, it's so apparent that this extremely bright gnomeling understands how life around her works. Such a happy little gnomeling, she always seems to be surrounded by smiles. I think it's because she has that special silliness that makes the eyes of everygnome around her light up, especially Baby Sister. I'm sure you'd agree that she is quite the loveable silly little monkey, full of love for life... and cheese... but not bananas!

Protector of the Flying Ones

Ladies, and Dragons, it is my pleasure to introduce to you this little soul with a big heart. You may gnot believe it by looking at her gnow, but there was once a time when this little gnomette was even smaller than she is gnow. She was very sick and wanted to give up. The weight of her little garden around her seemed so heavy, but it was the love of her family and the care from the doctors and their medical assistants that helped her fight and get better. Oh and look at her gnow! Gnot only is she full of life, but she has found a home where she can help the little dragonflies and ladybugs who are afraid to take flight on their own. Sometimes a ladybug is too weak to spread her wings and she gneeds to hear a tiny whisper of encouragement to know that she has all the strength she gneeds to spread her wings and fly - right inside her tiny body. Sometimes it's a dragonfly who feels lost and alone in the garden, and again this little soul is eager to be there for support, to encourage the dragonfly that he is magestic all on his own. Gno matter what happens, though, their loved ones will be there for them if they fall, and this dear protector will always be close by with a little reminder or two that every soul can spread their wings and fly.

Mommy Magic

There is gno doubt that there are few things as magical as a gnewborn gnomeling. There is just something about their tiny gnoses and caps that make even the strongest of hearts melt. Even their toes seem so small! I can think of one thing more magical than a gnew baby, and that's the love that he receives from Mommy. Mommy's love might even be the most powerful force in the entire garden! It must take some powerful magic to calm even the most upset baby by a simple warm touch. To embrace a gnomeling and love him with absolute abandon - gnothing can conquer a Mommy's love. What I find the most gnomazing is that a gnomeling's possibilities are endless. There is gno telling what he may do when he grows up and finds his own place in the garden. Will he have wings to fly? Will he explore beyond the garden walls? Will he find a way to bring different Gnomish communities together? Each young soul has so much potential - they're so big in a garden that expects them to be so small, and it's a Mommy that believes in that potential first. It's her love that brings potential into reality. Magic.

So it should come as no surprise that the town council voted unanimously the strawberry patch needs to be protected. Not just anygnome can qualify for such an important job. We need a master of the mind, a master of disguise, a master of all things green... who better to protect the patch than a master gardener?! Now that the strawberries are safe, the gnome colony has no worries about having enough berries for their upcoming strawberry festival. It's one of the best events of the year!

Four Elements

In many Gnomish communities, the elements are very important. They certainly deserve a lot of respect. When the gnomes come together in a circle to cast good wishes and happy thoughts onto each other, the elements are essential. They have an important job to do - they have to protect the happy thoughts from gnegative influence entering the sacred Gnomish circle. Earth is responsible for grounding, solidity - the balance to keep the gnomes in check so they don't venture too far into any one state of mind. Air is responsible for creativity, thinking and helps the gnomes to let their imaginations soar upon the winds like a bird in flight. Water rules the emotions, the fluidity of love, tears, and everything in between. She helps guide the emotions that pour out of each tiny soul like a free-flowing river and into the hearts of others around them. Fire is passion - gnot just passion of the heart, but the passion that motivates the gnomes to have the courage of their convictions to make the garden a prettier place. The four elements are all connected - one can gnot exist without the other, and together the elements bring life to the garden.

The Year of the Home

Spring has come and this tiny tweet can't help but love the sights around her. She has recently decided to move her gnest to a tiny garden surrounded by a deep forest. It seemed to take such a long time and the moving process was far from easy, but she is here gnow. Surrounded by gnature that the woods provide, she loves to watch the birds gather sticks and twigs and work so hard to make their own cozy little home for their family. Perhaps it's because she also holds friends and family closest to her heart, but she thinks it's such a brilliant idea that she has decided to do the same for her gnew little home. She starts to look items that remind her of the things she loves and make her happy and look what she has found! Buttons - one for each of her gnomelings (past, present AND future). A couple twigs, swirls and hearts for the finishing touches? Oh, why gnot? It all puts a smile on her face. Soon this tiny little gnest of her is going to be the perfect home! This year is the year of the home!

Lucky Day

Today is a lucky day! Look what this little lad has found! He was just walking through the clover patch on his way home and he stumbled to the ground, and landed on his gnose, but when he opened his eyes, right there in front of him was a four leaf clover! How lucky indeed! Gnot very many gnomes are lucky enough to find such a treasure. Just wait until his friends see this... Gnow he's sure to have good fortune for the rest of the year!

Looking Up

Who do you look up to? Some young gnomelings look up at to the moon. Even when the garden around them is the darkest, the moon seems to have a habit of shining a bright beam of guiding light down to the little souls below. That's how the younger of these two beautiful souls feels about her mother. What an inspirational gnomette she has always been! Such a big kind heart, of course she wanted to grow up to be just like her. I'm sure you've heard the saying, "Aim for the moon - if you miss, you'll surely land among the stars." It goes without saying, they're talking about these two. Try as she might to be just like her mother, the gnomeling grew up to be something even brighter. She is the sweetest kindest gnomette I know - shy to a fault, but so mindful of what others gneed. She has a special talent to know when somegnome gneeds that little bit of encouragement, kind word or funny story. And together? Oh my gnomes, these two are amazing! Their bond is so strong and continues to be stronger every season. If they do gnot keep in touch between every sun rise... well let's just say that there seems to be a hole in their hearts that can not be filled by any other. Forever. Unconditional love. The garden couldn't have better role models to look up to.

My Imaginary Best Friend

I'll tell you a little secret. Imaginary friends are quite real. No, really. Let me introduce you to my imaginary best friend. Like me, she is a pretty princess and loves to wear flowers and crowns but is brave and kind. And like me, she loves to go on adventures and I know just where our adventures can start. Maybe here, maybe there, but always together. I can always have my tiny friend with me. She is very imaginative and will help me keep my loads of imaginary friends safe and happy. She must have lots of energy to keep up with me too! I bet she even loves to read books, just like me! The best thing about my imaginary best friend is that she's all mine and is always happy to give me a tiny hug when I'm feeling blue. I can tell her secrets that I know she will keep and we will be together forever.

To Be an Engineer

Some gnomes are gnever satisfied with how much knowledge they hold. It seems that they always want to learn more about the secrets of the garden around them and how everything works. That's exactly what keeps this determined gnome excited, and believe me, that thirst for knowledge will take him anywhere he wants to go, even far beyond the garden's walls. Along with his ability to learn, he has a bit of a warped sense of humor, which other gnomes can't help but crack at least a small smile at. Perhaps it's because he's very laid back, or maybe it's because he always looks for ways to help the gnome community around him, but whatever the reason is, it's quite apparent that the garden is a better place because of him. I, for one, am glad that he tends to take everything in before he does anything, because then he does it right and he does it well. The garden could use more like this one.

Tender Loving Care

This bright soul is so easy to love. She brings so much color into the garden because she's so bright - because she's so smart, but also because she makes her loved ones smile and laugh every day. I for one, can't help but smile at how she's so adamant about being independent and strong, yet so full of love. She makes me so happy I could cry. She helps me see the sunny side. And with one little gesture she can patch up the whole of my world that had just fallen apart. My heart swells to bursting. She is my treasure, but I don't know how to show her. All I can do is start with being her treasure keeper. I love that her tiny treasures that she finds through out her magical day are entrusted to me. The pride I have when she hands me a tiny pebble, all the while knowing that it's worth more than it looks... well words just don't exist. Someday, though I'm gnot sure how, this bright little soul will grow to know how much her tender loving care means to me. She is the color to my garden.

Patches' #1 Fan

Some patches are worn because they're gneeded and others are worn as an act of support, but all patches are worn with pride. This tiniest of tiny souls wears her patch of pride for her big sister. If you asked her, I'm sure she would say that there is gnognome as special as her big sister and someday, when she's bigger, she is going to be just like her! She is so much fun! They are best friends and do everything together! You might even say that she is Patches' #1 fan! What she doesn't realize is that all the love she has for Patches is JUST the magic her sister gneeds. Sister love - there might gnot be anything more powerful. Together they can do anything!
