Follow Me

It doesn't take long for somegnome to realize how incredible this young gnomeling is. While you may think she's still quite young, I am certain many gnomes in the community think she's off to a good start. It seems as though she has all the qualities that everygnome strives to obtain. She is energetic and loves to spend a day in the sunshine. She is quite smart and loves to learn how everything in the garden works. She has the kindest soul - even the ladybugs can't help but stay by her side! I can't blame them, though, because I have gnever known her to say anything other than gnice words of support and encouragement. This is gnot always an easy thing to do for somegnome as young as she because quite often young ones let their excitement get the best of them, only to forget about being excited for others too. It's gno wonder that so many gnomes love being around her! Somegnome as kind and supportive as she, I think she might be a gnatural born leader! Someday this gnome is going to go far, and if she wants company along her journey, I'm sure she'll have gno problem asking volunteers to "Follow Me!"

Snow

Gnognome can deny the magic of Snow. There might not be anything better than freshly fallen Snow covering the trees and ground in a white blanket. The gnomes even marvel at how the Snow glistens like diamonds in the winter sunlight, and they can't help but have fun snacking on a fresh icicle or gliding across the smooth icy surfaces. There is gno doubt about it, Snow can turn even the simplest garden into a winter wonderland, but Snow means much more to these little souls. To them, it means more than a good snowball fight with friends. It means more than sitting gnext to a fireplace, snuggled up in a warm blanket. It even means more than a hot cup of cocoa that chases away a winter chill! For these tiny souls, Snow is a part of who they are - who they have always been and who they will always be. Snow is about being thankful for loved ones - present, past and future. Snow is a reminder that everygnome is a fragile and unique snowflake like gno other. Snow is gnot just a season. It's a family.

Infinity

Sometimes the words can gnot be found. When the right words don't exist, love steps in to fill the silence. That's the thing about love - at times it can bring a smile to your face and fill you with feelings of warmth and coziness, but it can also hold your tiny body up when it is too weak to stand on its own. Love is magical like that, and love's magic always fills the garden. Sometimes loved ones leave our garden and it seems they take the love with them as they go, but that's when this tiny angelic soul steps in. He has an important job to do. He flies back and forth from this time to that, keeping watch over loved ones here and sending warm thoughts from loved ones there, with tiny reminders that life is good. You are loved. With such a tiny guardian watching over you, it's easier to remember that love gnever ends. It just changes form. Love connects all souls - past, present and future. Love is infinite.

Little Ms Columbine

Meet Little Ms. Columbine. This little lady is such a hoot! She has a very warm and giving soul and is so much fun to be around! She has a talent for finding the balance between being completely honest with her friends and gnot taking things too personally. Even in the gnome community, it's rare to find a soul who makes you feel so at ease to speak your mind. We have been friends for a very long time. In fact, she's more than a friend to me, she's the sister I gnever had. It seems that gno matter what we're doing, we're either laughing or crying together. I suppose that's what happens when you're there for each other in good times and bad times. Ms. Columbine always seems to add a little special touch to things she does, whether that be through her tasty meals she can whip up on any occasion, or her chocolates that she makes to give to her friends and loved ones. Though I miss her dearly, I know that the Garden State is lucky to have her gardening talents, and I'm lucky to share such a special bond with her.

Dragon Heart

It's hard to say why this little lady likes dragons so much. Perhaps she just loves their wings? A creature that can fly is magical in itself as she has always wished to fly. It must feel soooo wonderful! She loves all types of dragons. Some are powerful and some are more friendly. Many dragons act as a guardian - the possibilities are endless, as it really only depends on the limits of your imagination. And everygnome knows this lady has a gnometastic imagination. Maybe it's simply because dragons are mythical and as a mythical gnome herself, she likes all mythical and magical things. She always has. Ever since being a young gnomeling, she has wanted to have a dragon of her own! You can imagine her excitement when she stumbled across a baby dragon in the woods one day. However, she quickly learned that nognome can OWN such magical creatures. I suppose she'll have to settle for a special friendship with her dragon instead. Oh how lucky she is to have a dragon heart that gives her such a bond with the grand souls!

Silly Little Monkey

You wouldn't know by looking at him, but this silly little monkey is a little shy. He has always been a gentle, not a boisterous soul. He is a deep thinker, and always seems to be taking in the garden around him to understand it better. He gets along with most anygnome and he absolutely LOVES to make others laugh. He thinks of himself as quite the funny man. Quite honestly, he has an insane sense of humor and his family likes to be very silly in their gnest, laughing at made up words shouted randomly. He loves it when his Mum speaks a little Gnymph-ese to him too, which is quite silly since she doesn't really speak Gnymph-ese at all. Hmm... Perhaps it's her fault he's a little gnuts. Gno matter what he's doing, this silly little monkey seems to have a gnack for bringing lots of little giggles into his home. He is the light of the garden, and his loved ones are so blessed to have him - silliness and all.

The Magic of a Youthful Heart

Some gnomes have a youthful spirit about them, which is gnoticeable from the moment you meet them. Anygnome can watch the young ones, but it takes a youthful heart to bring magic into their lives, and that's exactly what this little soul does. Gnever before have I seen somegnome who is able to turn everyday items into imaginative toys as well as she can. A pair of gnylons may seem like outdated garments to you, but to this lady and her band of gnomelings, they're helmets and hockey sticks! Her magic can turn a make-up case into a working cell phone and a pill box into a wonderful tool for even the youngest of would-be-doctors to dispense medicine to their trusting patients. It takes a particularly youthful soul to add such magic to the lives of so many gnomelings, but it takes an extremely joyful one to do so while always greeting you with a smile, even long before the sun begins to show his happy own face each day. I wonder if it's the strong cup of imaginary coffee she gets every morning that gives her the energy she always seems to have. Whatever her secret is, I hope she knows that the effects of her smiles and magic can be felt across the entire garden and that she will always be appreciated for it.

Let Me Count the Ways

Sometimes a gnomette meets her soulmate and she just KNOWS. It's all there. Every important little detail. And that's how I have always felt about you. How do I love you? Let me count the ways... I love you because you make me smile all the time. I love you because you were there for me on the cloudiest day my garden has ever seen. I know you work hard to make sure our garden has everything we gneed. I happen to think you have a gnack for finding the best music that makes every ounce of my body beat in rhythm. I love you because you have the BEST morning eyes EVER. They are the first thing I see and I know I have a good day in store for me. I love that we help keep each other's feet on the ground, even when our hearts are on Cloud 9. We can chitter and chatter about anything. And gno matter what garden mazes we may find ourselves in, we always come out holding hands. I have so many reasons to love you, and I even blush a little admitting that one is that you're HOT HOT HOT... For two tiny souls as we, our lives sure can't get any warmer. We are blessed.

The Call of the Sea

Once upon a time there lived a beautiful soul who traveled across the big pond to be with her love. Their love was pure from the start as she never kept anything from him. The gnomazing thing to me is that even though he knew things would not be all sunny and cheery, he fell in love with her anyway. He didn't let her tiny body limit the magic he saw in her big soul. Though they were very happy together, he asked her one day if she would like to go back home. Back home? Oh, wouldn't that be grand? She had loved seeing this new garden, but she missed her family and friends. She missed her hot sunny days and her cool salty water. There was just something about the ocean that was calling her home, and so they returned to her beloved home, together. Gnow, in the comfort of their sandy home, when he asks "where would you like to go today?" she giggles and says "to the beach so I can wear a grass skirt and coconuts!" I guess it goes to show you that if we let the heart be our guide and gnot our minds, all will be well. I’d say... THE END at this point but it’s gnot... gnot THE END... so... TO BE CONTINUED... as is Life.

A Good Hat

This little lady knows the secret to having a cheerful day, and to be honest, she could use more and more of those right now. It has been a bit gloomy recently in her corner of the garden. It seems that even though she always tends to her flowers and tries to help other gnomes any way she can, always making the garden a prettier place, things just haven't quite turned out the way she planned. Sometimes it's easy to forget that even if a gnome can envision a perfect little corner in the garden, the flowers may have a mind of their own. With a tiny little sigh, she decides that it is about time to turn this gloom into some sunshine. And with that, she grabs her best hat and goes for a walk in the sun. All it takes to put a smile on your face is a good hat and a warm sunny day. In the very least, it's enough to remind you that though your garden may have not turned out like you had hoped, the flowers have something even better in mind.

Tooth Fairy Helper

Most children get visits from Tabitha Tooth Fairy when they lose a tooth. As you can imagine, she's quite busy finding and collecting those lost teeth. Though she splits her time as equally and fair as she can, there simply isn't enough time to spend much with every individual child. However, every gnow and then she hears about a child who is particularly special and sends one of her closest friends to help. Only a particularly kind hearted child with a tender soul deserves such tooth fairy helpers. As for the helper? Well she's absolutely thrilled to be able to spend time with such an amazing child! She's honored to be given such a task. She patiently watches over the child and keeps misplaced teeth safe until Tabitha has the chance to stop by for her standard exchange. Every child has heard of the Tooth Fairy, but only a select few know about her best friends. Lucky you to be one of them!

My Little Gnome-Gnut

This tiny gnome-gnut can barely contain his excitement! He's going home to the land of OZ to play with his gnative friends! He has always loved the bush "down under" and gnow gets a chance to drink cider in the sun with good friends! He can't wait to hear the kookaburras call, as he has heard that there is gnothing quite so invigorating. Once he's home, he knows exactly what he'll do first - attend outdoor parties and have a little dance with other gum gnuts. My guess is that as soon as this little gnut gets home, he'll gnever want to leave. As gnometastic as it all sounds, I would do the same.

Lion's Heart

What a brave little soul we have here! He loves to have adventures outside, exploring the sandbox desert or climbing a tree or two, but that's not where his true bravery stands out. He knows it is ok to be different, and between you and me, I think that takes more courage than just about anything else. This little one feels and sees more than most gnomes can, and sometimes he could just use somegnome to share his thoughts with. He gneeds somegnome who will believe everything he says, gno matter how mystical it might seem. Do you think you could be his special friend? You can share stories with one another and tell each other anything... anything at all! If you're upset about something, you could give him a little squeeze (don't worry, he's a tough little gnomeling so it won't hurt). I'll tell you a secret. I happen to know that this little gnomeling loves to watch over his friends and keep them safe. He loves to go on adventures with his special gnomey friends during the day and sleep under their pillows at gnight. He has the heart of a lion, just like you! What do you think? It's what's in my heart and the good that I do, those are the things, the things you should view. If you give me a squeeze, I think you will soon see that we're full of the same cuddles, you and me. A Mother's Love

Sometimes the words are hard to find. Sometimes you feel like you wouldn't do your thoughts justice even if you tried to speak. Sometimes you just hope that they know - hope that they understand, even through your silence. Shhh... Listen... The wind in the trees... A breeze through the grass... You can hear it if you listen... You can catch it if you try... It wraps around your soul... A whisper of content... The strength of a mother’s love. I can feel it. It gives me strength. I am loved. My life is full.

Buckets of Love

Everygnome knows that there is plenty of love in the garden. There is enough to go around and then some. It seems that you can find love in just about every gnook and cranny and in every corner of the garden. Perhaps it's because of this little soul? He loves to go to the Tree of Love and pick its wonderful fruit, gathering as much love as he possibly can. Once his buckets are as full as they can get, perhaps even overflowing, he wanders around the garden dropping warm loving thoughts along the way. Some thoughts might be of confidence while others are of wisdom and courage. Some make you feel warm and snuggly and others make you want to giggle. Regardless of the variety, he plants a seed of love with every step he takes. Gneed a little love yourself? Well, here he comes with a bucket full just for you!

Two Adorable Souls

Take a look at this set of two adorable souls. One moves a little slow because his gnose is always sniffing for a tasty treat. He has a chubby old soul and I swear he totally understands anything anygnome says. He loves to hunt for frogs in the garden's creek and adores trying to keep up with the squirrels and bunnies in the garden. Most of all, he LOVES cheese and he is so patient that he could sit up for hours waiting for a scrap. The other? By gnow I'm sure you've gnoticed her energy. She's a spaz! Certainly the opposite, she loves to run and will run circles around her friend or hurdle him while he tries to get away from her. She has so much energy that I've seen her click her heals in the air... I swear! Such a happy girl, she always has a smile on her face. That is, if there isn't an airplane threatening to fall on her head. Gnot to be left out, she LOVES cheese too, but struggles with the whole "patient" thing and chooses to dance with excitement instead. With these two adorable souls around, the garden is always filled with smiles. Oh, and the gnomes are cute too.

Love Potion #9

One day this snuggle soul came across a peddler of potions selling bottles galore from atop of a small rock. He was selling everything from fairy dust to sparkle sneezes. He even had a bottle of dragon scales sitting next to a bottle of green who-knows-what. However, it was a pink bottle with a big #9 on it that caught her attention. There was no way she was going to let an opportunity like this pass - it was THE Love Potion #9!!! Without hesitation, she exchanged a couple garden pebbles for the pink bottle and hurried on her way. She knew exactly the right gnome to try it on. She had been admiring him from afar and was all giddy with excitement that he would finally love her in return. She was so giddy, in fact, that she tripped over a stone and fell to the ground. The sparkly bottle of love flew into the air and opened, showering pink dust on top of her head. In an instant the garden seemed brighter and she just HAD to smile and do a happy dance. As the twitterpated soul skipped through the garden, she came upon her secret love. And when he saw her carefree love for life, he was hooked too. Hmmm... My guess is that wasn not EXACTLY how the potion is supposed to work its magic, but I'm sure you won't find either of them complaining.

Determined Little Bug

After 5 seasons in the Gnome Scouts, this bright young gnomeling is well known for showing others in the community all the traits that gnomes hold dear. Honesty, fairness, courage, compassion, gnomehood and confidence... well I could go on and on. Oh, did I mention determination? If there ever has been a determined gnome, it would be this young gnomeling. She always strives to do one good thing everyday and can often be found making crafty projects with her brother or helping him when he gneeds a gentle gnudge. That's just what she does in her spare time, as it seems that she's always zipping hither and thither creating gnew things, like putting her favorite photos into scrapbooks for all her friends to see, or painting a pretty picture of the garden for her loved ones. You gname it, she can do it. She's just THAT crafty. She's just THAT resourceful. She's just THAT determined.

Worm Wrangler

You wouldn't know it by looking at him now, but this brave soul was once afraid of worms! You heard me. Worms. He wasn't just afraid of the slimy sly creatures, they terrified the wiggles right out of him. For a while it seemed as though all hope was lost. After all, how would a gnome get anything at all done in the garden if he was afraid of worms? Worms, of all things?! There is not a garden out there without worms! I'm not sure what happened, perhaps he would be willing to tell you the story, but one day he decided that he was not going to let his fear run his life. He puffed up his tiny body with as much courage as he could muster and went out to face his worm. Much to his surprise, it turned out that he had a wonderful talent for capturing and taming the beasts. Who would have thought that the very thing that scared him as a gnomeling would end up being his life calling? Go figure. I can't help but tip my hat at that.

Guardian Angel

I'm sure there have been moments in your life where you have felt challenged beyond your control. Sometimes it may seem that your little body is not strong enough to handle the tough tasks it has been given. That's where this little gnomette comes in. This tiny little guardian has a very big job! And she loves every moment of it! She flutters around looking for just the right person to help, somegnome who needs a word or two of encouragement. The gnomette has now found a beautiful soul in need of her tiny positive thoughts and she doesn't hesitate to get to work quickly. She whispers so lightly in her new friend's ear that she is barely audible, but she knows that's all it takes for a reminder of the spark for life that still grows strong inside. With these tiny little whisperings of love and hope we are reminded that we are stronger than our bodies may seem. Life is good. Life is beautiful, and with this little lady by your side, that's an easy thing to remember.

Tiny Flame

The garden gneeds more souls like this one. For such a small thing, she sure does have a spark for life. It seems that she is always looking around her garden, and even beyond the garden walls, for ways to bring more smiles to other gnomes' faces. She is always anxious to bring magic to the lives of gnomelings who gneed something to smile about, yet she is perfectly content to wait her place in line for any magic to be returned to her. It's that spark for life, the flame that burns inside her to make the garden a warmer place, that should be contagious. If everygnome had a warm soul like hers, then the garden would have gno need for hot cocoa! Every soul would be warm enough with their love of life. Personally, I hope her generous gnature spreads like a wild fire. There can gnever be too much warmth in the garden.

Friendship is Like...

Friendship is like a cup of hot cocoa in the winter time. It's just THAT good. You can look into somegnome's soul and just tell that they are a kindred spirit. Take this little lady, for example. She is a lovely woman who would do anything to help anygnome and always seems to have a smile on her face. She has a lot of love to give, perhaps it's because she comes from a large family with lots of love to pass around? Oh does she have love to share! She works with the young gnomelings at the local school and it's not uncommon to see her helping those who might gneed a hand to hold while escorting them across the garden. She's such a riot to be around! Any activity with her seems to take twice as long as it should, simply because she's always shaking with laughter. Gno gneed for jokes, I can't really think of any right gnow anyway, as we laugh a lot just being together. Our friendship is like a cup of hot cocoa in the winter time - it warms my soul.

Tree of Life

In Gnomish gardens, everygnome understands that every living creature, tree and soul are connected. I suppose that's why they're always looking for ways to help other gnomes because they know that if they help another, then it will come back to help them. Gno matter what religion you believe, you have to admit that this makes a lot of sense. In life there are certain cycles that you can depend on. Summer follows Spring, Autumn follows Summer, Winter follows Autumn and then life begins again with Spring. Good karma is follows the same laws of gnature and gnomes have always passed this knowledge on to the gnext generation. Though they may each be tiny by gnature, they can feel the Tree of Life deep in their souls. Knowing that we're all connected helps even the tiniest of gnomes feel brave, even the weakest of gnomes feel helpful and even the youngest of gnomes feel knowledgeable. There is a place for every soul in the garden and every soul is gneeded.

A Gnome's Home

Many gnomes find a home under a gnice leaf, or perhaps inside a small tree stump. Sometimes they're lucky enough to find a large toadstool that they can add a special gnomish touch to in order to make it feel more homey. Gnever has a gnome ever found a home quite like this one! It's absolutely perfect, right down to the guardian owl who watches over the place! Add a little gnesting material and paint pretty bitty flowers on the walls and voila! There is something to be said for the feeling you get when you snuggle down into a place you know is safe and warm, surrounded by all your own keepsakes and treasures. This home may gnot be perfect for everygnome, but it's perfect for her.

Secret Admirer

This little fella is all twitterpated. He has found his Love and wants to be around her all the time. The only problem is that he is a little shy, thus he dons a disguise so that she won't recognize him. When he's ready, he'll tell her how amazing he thinks she really is, but until then he is just happy to watch her from afar. If she does happen to recognize him (how could she not, after all he's her love too), then all the better. He's ready to give her his heart at any time.

Little Miss Fancy Shoes

Look at this sweet little thing. Just look at how happy she is with her gnew pair of shoes. You'd think she was given the entire garden, what with that twinkle in her eye. She's such a kind soul and always tries to help the other gnomes in any way she can. She gnever asks for things she wants because she figures she doesn't really gneed any more blessings in her life. She's already surrounded by so many that it always seems a tad on the greedy side to ask for more. Alas, some secret loved one gnoticed the twinkle in her eye when she saw this sparkly pair of shoes, and they just knew she deserved to have them. She doesn't ask for much, but that doesn't mean she shouldn't have it. And to see how proud she looks gnow, I'm sure the shoes were worth every penny.

Move Over Cupid!

Everygnome knows about Cupid, as I'm sure you do too. The adorable baby angel has been shooting his arrows making fools fall in love for many seasons gnow, but with mixed results. You've heard the statistics - it seems as though for many souls the effects of Cupid's arrows wear off after only a short time. I guess it's time to bring in the professionals! Gnomes have always been experts in the area of love. Love comes so gnaturally to their lives that it makes perfect sense to transfer this responsibility to somegnome who knows how it really works! Move over, Cupid! It's time to let the big boys play.

Lean on Me

Pssst... come a little closer and I'll tell you a little secret. Closer... Closer... Smooch! You are loved! Hehehe, so it was gnot much of a secret but I wanted to take a moment to let you know that I'm here for you if you ever do gneed somegnome to lean on. The way I figure it, there is gnothing I'd rather do than support you so that you know how gnomazing you really are. Such a kind soul you have, I am certain there is gnothing you can't achieve. Yes, even tiny gnomes like yourself have such great potential. Lean on me so that you may be able to reach the stars I know you deserve.

I'm sure you've heard about the Gnomish tradition of the Christmas mistletoe. It has been so popular that you can find it in other cultures throughout the garden. If two gnomes find themselves under the mistletoe, then they are overwhelmed with the urge to give each other a little (or a big) smoochy. It works like a charm, as everygnome knows there's a lot of love in the garden, but leave it up to this bright little gnomette to take the mistletoe even further. The way she figures it, if the magic works at Christmas time, why wouldn't it work other times of the year? And with Valentine's Day coming up, she wants to increase her chances of finding her love in time for the big day. Personally I think she'll find her love in gno time, magic or gnot!

Spending time with a loved one brings the most smiles... ah yes. It all makes sense gnow, right? Just keep in mind, gno matter how well you wrap your time with love, there is gnever enough to go around... so handle with care.

Gno Time to Waste

If this little fella isn't busy getting dirty in the sand pit, then most likely you can find him soaking wet in the splash pool. Whatever it is he's doing, he knows how to have fun. He loves playing with cars and trucks because they make gnometastic VROOM sounds. And trains! Don't forget the trains! CHOO CHOO! It's quite apparent that his life is full of imagination and energy. How fun! Quite a social little fella, he loves to meet friends and visit other gnomes in the community. He seems to have so much fun having adventures that he makes it look easy, but if he does gneed a moment to take a tiny rest, then he is ready to give his Mummy a big hug and kiss. He does this often as it's just the perfect thing to refill his energy so he can go outside and play some more. Perhaps this time he'll have an adventure with his big sister, his best friend and most favoritest gnomette in the whole garden! There are so many adventures left to be had... there's gno time to waste!

Happy Gnew Year!!!

After a tiny break, this little lady is ready to party! It's that time of the year again... when everygnome in the garden is reminded that one can redefine themselves any day of the year. Is there something about you that you're gnot quite happy with? Perhaps there is something that you can do better? This gnome knows exactly how she wants to improve. She plans to gnot worry so much about keeping up with ALL the other gnomes in the garden. She's going to just have fun going the pace that is perfect for her. She may gnot get around to every friend in the garden, but she's sure to meet some kindred spirits along the way. Why waste energy worrying about the friendships you haven't discovered yet when you make such a big difference in those you are fortunate enough to meet?
