Did you know that if somegnomes does something mean then they think they are filling your bucket, but they aren't. They're called Bucket Dippers. But if you are gnice, then you are a Bucket Filler. And if your bucket is full then you are happy. I do not like Bucket Dippers. If you are a Bucket Dipper then other gnomes will not want to be your friend. These are the rules and everygnome in the community knows them. Honestly, I think they're pretty good rules. After all, they must work because I have yet to see a sad gnome. Think about it. Have you ever seen a sad gnome? I didn't think so. Gnomes love hanging around Bucket Fillers because they're the most fun and gnomes like having fun! Perhaps if this tiny gnome sees you being a Bucket Filler she'll want to play with you too!
PERSONAL GNOTE:
The first part of this story was taken verbatim (w/ a gnomey twist of course) from my daughter's explanation of the concept of Bucket Fillers. This gnome is for her classroom so I figured that would be appropriate.

Moon Messenger
Once upon a time there lived a mother who loved her son more than words could describe. He was her best friend as well as her eldest son, who was always the one who could instantly bring a smile to her face. He would tell her she was beautiful even when she shed a few tears, reminding her that his love had the magic to help keep her strong. He was always looking for ways to take care of his loved ones, both young and old. Such a kind humble soul, the boy really had gno idea how proud his mother was to have him as a son. There was gno doubt that one day he would grow up to be a great man, but in the mean time she could only say "I love you to the stars and back" and hope that he understood the significance of those words. Meanwhile, behind the scenes, there was a gnome who was given the very important job of delivering the mother's love to her son. Delivering her love all the way up to the stars and then back down to the boy takes a lot of time, effort and dedication. This wee Moon Messenger doesn't mind, though, because he knows that the boy deserves every ounce of love his mother sends his way.

Sweet Stuff
This fella is made of all the right stuff. He stands tall and confident, which makes it easy to love him. I know many souls who would love to keep him in their pocket close by but even the gnomes in the community love to be around him. He's particularly popular this time of the year and is always up for a good adventure. Whether it be swinging from the branches in the Christmas tree or spiking the holiday fruit juice, he's at the center of the action. But the best thing about him? Oh, he is such a sweet soul, always willing to put a smile on a gnome's face. Gno wonder everygnome wants to be by his side.

The Legend of the Dragonfly
Gnomish legend tells of a family of grubs who could gnot understand why their loved ones gnever came back after crawling up the lily stems to the top of the water. A particularly loving grub promised to tell the others what happened to him when he was called to make the climb. Once he rested himself on top of the lily pad, he made a magical transformation into a dragonfly! In vain he tried to keep his promise, flying back and forth for his loved ones to see, but he soon realized they simply did gnot recognize him. Still, there was gnothing he wanted more than their happiness so he decided to continue to watch over his loved ones to help keep them safe. This little soul thinks that the Gnomish legend is so inspirational that he, too, has decided to help protect the things that matter the most, whether it be looking over his loved ones or guarding the family treasures. The dragonfly has a special place in his heart so he will always know he is surrounded by love.

Keeper of the Christmas Lights
Try gnot to bother this busy soul. She's buzzing around trying to get her job done. Chances are unless you're looking for a quick, but bright smile as she flies past you, she won't have time to chat until after the Christmas season is finished. That's gnot to say she's being rude. Oh, anything but! She is such a cheerful soul who loves to take the time to chat with her friends and learn about what is going on with their season, as long as that season is not the Christmas one. The holiday season is by far the busiest for her because she's in charge of making sure the lights on the trees are all lit. She rushes from bulb to bulb to make sure they're in their tip top shape and are performing to their brightest. She loves this job and between you and me, she even stops every gnow and then to admire how pretty the tree really is. Oh so pretty indeed. Thank you little gnomey.

Dreidle Fun
Everygnome has heard about the Great Miracle that Happened in the sacred garden so many many seasons ago, but this little fella thinks the miracle is really found in the children's laughter when they play the dreidel game TODAY. He has seen their smiles as they watch the spinning toy come to a stop and treasures of golden chocolate are passed around. It didn't take long before this tiny gnome decided that's what he wants to do. He wants to bring smiles to children's faces too! He wants a piece of that chocolate yummy money too! And most of all, he wants in on the spinning! How fun would that be to spin over and over and over again, surrounded by dizzy visions of children's laughter? Without hesitation, he comes up with a plan, a disguise of sorts, and then he's off! Spinning faster than he thought was possible! Are those squeals of delight coming from the children or from his little dizzy body? It's so hard to tell! Ok, so perhaps he doesn't spin as fast as the real thing, but I think he gets points for trying!

Tiny Packages
Shhh! This tiny gnome is hiding! She is playing with her friends around the Christmas tree and has found the perfect tiny little hiding place. Oh she's so excited! She doesn't think they'll ever find her, and to be absolutely certain she even added a tag that says "Do Gnot Open Until Christmas" on her tiny box before tucking away inside. Little does she know that her friends have already moved on to the gnext activity (don't be too hard on them, hot cocoa is gnever easy to turn down). Alas, she waits and waits and waits... until Christmas morning when a special soul opens a tiny present, only to discover that good things come in tiny packages.
