Gnomester Mash

I was gnoming on the couch, late one night,
when my eyes beheld an eerie sight,
for my gnomester in his wool began to rise,
and suddenly to my surprise...

He did the gnomester mash,
it was a garden smash,
it caught on in a flash,
he did the gnomester mash.

From my gnomatory in the room out east,
to the dining room where the little ones should feast,
the gnomes all came from their humble doodles,
to get a poke from my felting needles...

They did the gnomester mash,
it was a garden smash,
it caught on in a flash,
they did the gnomester mash.

The Smallest Pirate in the Seven Seas

Ahoy thar mateys! Blimey! Bless me barnacles, look who is here! Listen up, me hearties, I have a story to share 'bout this bitty brave pirate. As tiny as he may be, this jolly good sailor has been to all seven seas! He has swam across vast tidal pools, lassoed wild seahorses, fought off flesh eating guppies and even disarmed a surprisingly aggressive sponge! Aye matey, one thing is for sure. Though tiny he may be, his adventures are too numurous to be counted on your hand and your hook!

Wee Witch

This wee witch decided one day that she needed a friend. It just didn't seem like she was connecting with the goblins and mummies that lived in her garden. It never seemed like they enjoyed fun things like dressing up in big hats and chanting silly sounding spells. So she concocted up a good friend potion! The recipe called for 2 chips of a cookie, 2 grams of cracker, 1 beer root, 1 pinch of a friend's melons and 1 eight-legged spider. The wee witch quickly got to work, gathering all the ingredients into her big pot. Finally, she reached for the last ingredient, the spider, and their eyes connected for just a wee moment. A wee moment was all it took. She just could not bring herself to toss her new little friend into the pot. But wait... That means the potion worked after all!

Keeper of the Cobwebs

Once upon a Hallow's Eve, this little fella had a funny little fear. He used to be scared of cobwebs! He knew that cobwebs were a silly thing to fear. It's not like they jump out and grab you or even make scary sounds in the middle of the gnight. Even though he was able to laugh it off, he just could not stop thinking that somehow those cobwebs were watching him. Then one day he met a tiny little friend named Itsy who showed him that it's all a matter of perspective. They're not cobwebs if a spider lives in them, are they? You're right, Itsy! They're just plain old spider webs if you're there too! And so a gnometastic friendship was formed, but the little gnome still kept a close eye on those cobwebs to make sure they behaved.

Jingle Bells

Gno-one celebrates the holiday season as well as those in the gnome community. Their celebrations may be itty bitty by most standards, but gnomes understand that it's not the size of the decorations that matters the most, it's the size of the cheer! They know that as long as they are warm and cozy (a good snuggle or hot thimble of cocoa often helps), then everything else falls into place! The mistletoe and holly decorate the garden, but it's being with loved ones that really fills each gnome with a warm and fuzzy feeling. And you know they LOVE warm and fuzzy! The moment that everygnome looks forward to with the most anticipation is midnight, when each and every gnome carries his bell to join in the annual performance of Jingle Bells! It's such a glorious sound (not to mention a wonderous sight), I can't imagine a better way to bring in the holiday cheer.

Hand in Hand

I do not think it's possible for two souls to be as close as these tiny ladies. They may live in different corners of the garden, but they do not let that get in the way of their special bond. Quite honestly, I do not think it's possible to find the words to describe what little Suesha means to her big sister. She is the star in her sky. Suesha is the wind beneath her big sister's leaf, inspiring her to soar higher and higher. There is gnothing better than the time they have together, whether they are camping, gardening, cooking, laughing or loving. Without little Suesha, life in the garden would have no meaning. Gno matter how often they may see each other, the suns can not rise and set quickly enough before the gnext time the sisters have the opportunity to stroll together hand in hand.

Wrapped in Love

You can tell a lot about a gnewborn gnomeling just by looking at her. Take a look at this tiny soul. Look at the way she smiles with her eyes and laughs at her brother's stories. You can tell she is a wise soul. I bet she was born to be spiritual and in tune with gnature. She is so calm and relaxed that it's obvious she's in touch with the garden's energy. She must get that from her Mummy. What a tiny miracle she is! After waiting for oh so many seasons, it's such a privilage to have her in our lives. Surrounded by the warmth of gnature and snuggles from her family, you can tell that this wee one is wrapped in love.

Phoenix

Everygnome gneeds inspiration. How else would they be able to accomplish all the magical things they do in the garden? I'll tell you a little secret, though, if you promise gnot to tell another soul. Every good gnome community gneeds a good mascot, a must-have for any successful garden project. What better mascot than a fiery phoenix? A phoenix knows how to tackle any challenge with a blazing dedication and his fiery energy sparks creativity in anygnome. Best yet, after a long successful life, the phoenix returns home in its old age, ready for its rebirth. Much like the setting sun, whose flames are extinquished every gnight, only to be reborn to shine light on a gnew day, a phoenix is ready for the gnext challenge. I happen to know a team of souls who bring magic to the community in a similar fashion!

Tiny Tink

For somegnome so tiny, it's surprising how loud this lively Tink can be. And oh my gnomes is she sassy! Such a spirited tiny soul is she! Everygnome loves to be around her because she has so much energy and is always so funny. I don't think I have ever known a nicer gnomette. She always wants to help other gnomes if they get hurt or are sad. A good hug from her brings a smile to anygnome's face, but the thing that brings the biggest smile to her face? Visiting Grandma's and Granddad's house. She even likes it when they call her Toots. It's all so silly and fun.

One Block at a Time

This little fella is so proud of all the things he can do. He is so smart and is in the First Garden at school!!! He is really good at playing berryball, putting together puzzles, drawing all sorts of garden creatures, swimming in the garden's watering hole, dancing, and is especially good at telling jokes. He can make anygnome laugh. Such a bright little fella, he loves to help and knows how to create great things with his building blocks. He knows the secret to building something gnomazing - you just have to build it one block at a time! Every time he makes something gnew, he can't wait to go over to Grandma's and Granddad's to show it off! He knows that they love to see his creations.

A Gnuper Hero's Appitite

Every good Gnuper hero builds up a huge appetite when performing his gnometastic feats, and it's no different for this little fella. To say that this wee gnomeling is gnomazing, just doesn't do him justice. This Gnuper Hero can do lots of things! He is really good at drawing, running and jumping. He can even speak Hungarian! There is gnothing this little fella cannot do, but there are three things he loves to do above all else. He loves to go on adventures with his cousins. He loves to stay at Grandma's and Granddad's house. But most of all, this little hero loves to eat cake! And who can blame him? All that Gnuper Hero business can build up quite an appetite!

Guardian of the Rings

No gnome has ever had a more important job than this brave soul. He has been entrusted to guard two magical rings of eternity with his tiny life. He proudly accepted the challenge only a few moons ago, but he has never doubted his commitment to such a noble cause, for these rings are bonded together by love and are destined for a couple who proves themselves worthy. The prince must have the power to calm the princess even when no one else can. The princess must be unique, unlike any other, yet be completely comfortable in her own skin around him. They must be able to love each other even after sharing all their past skeletons, and they must each learn those highly secret details that are often kept locked away. Most importantly, they must both feel loved and special beyond any magical spell. If a prince and his princess can prove their bond worthy, the Guardian of the Rings shall sense the strength of their love and release the rings to their care. And so, the dragon gnome proudly guards his treasure closely, until one day...

Four Seasons

It's hard to imagine but there was once a time when these four little souls did not get along very well. At least not in gnome standards. They were even known to send each other gnot-so-gnice looks every now and then! Gasp! The horror! The problem was that they each felt like the others were getting in their way. Spring's duty was to protect and nurish seedlings so that they could eventually grow into beautiful flowers. Summer was in charge of maintaining the flower beds and keeping everygnome happy with bright sunny days. Autumn was responsible for gathering the harvest while still trying to find time to clean old growth off of the trees. And it was Winter's job to keep the air cool and crisp and to inspect the snowflakes to ensure they were each unique. As you can imagine, it was hard for them to all work together, until one day they had a brilliant idea! Let's take turns! So now when Spring is working hard to nurish the fragile new life, the other three sit back and take a mini-vacation knowing that soon it will be their turn to work hard. I think it's a brilliant idea, don't you?

Tiny Little Pixie

There once was a tiny little gnome who had a tiny little home in a tiny little mushroom in a tiny little garden. There was just one tiny little thing that wasn't perfect about her tiny little life. This girl wanted to fly! She was always so envious of the butterflies floating carefree above her head. She felt like she was so much bigger than her tiny little body would allow her to be. She wanted to soar high above the flower tops and across the great stream. In fact, she wanted to fly so much that she just knew she was meant to do so with every ounce of her tiny little soul. And so, she did it. She stepped out into the sun one day, determined to find her wings and a new hat to shade her eyes, ready to start her life anew. Now that's what I call spirit!

Sunny and Moonbeam

These two little ones have always been the best of friends even if they don't get to see each other very often. They both have jobs that keep them so busy and it just seems like their schedules simply don't line up! Sunny works all day long making sure the plants in the garden are arranged for the optimal sun exposure. And Moonbeam? He is in charge of making sure the plants don't get too cold once the moon comes out at night. As you can imagine, it's difficult for these two to have any time together, but the best part of their friendship is that when they do get to see each other (once in a new moon, of course), it's like they were never apart. They can always pick up right where they left off, and that's what true friendship is about.

PERSONAL GNOTE:
Here's another set of gnomes that I made because I couldn't find what I was looking for months ago. I like them a lot! And I love the feet. BTW, their story was inspired by my favorite children's song on Youtube.
